However, with my recent "package deal" with my cable provider a landline was included (and actually less expensive than not getting a phone line). So, I thought, "what the heck? I've got a phone line I'll buy a phone." I wasn't looking for top of the line, high functionality, but just a cheap and effective cordless phone. Shipping: I recently had a bad shipping experience with Amazon and a 2-day shipping product getting to me in two weeks. I honestly think that this order arrived at my house about 18 hours after I ordered it. That is probably the most exciting part of this order because I honestly don't know how it got here that fast. Quality: You get what you pay for, which is perfectly fine for me! It may just be because I haven't owned a cordless phone in a while, but the components, while effective, do seem a bit "light" and not as solid as something that you would probably pay more for. The buttons are a little sluggish in that it isn't like a smartphone in that you get the immediate feedback. Not a big deal but it is something that I noticed.
