Teenager - Since my son joined JROTC, he has taken an interest in his physical fitness. We always encourage new interests, but as any parent can tell you such interests can be fleeting. As such, the key to frugal parenting is finding relatively inexpensive and unobtrusive ways to encourage blooming interests, and this product is perfect. He assembled it himself from it's packaging in just a few minutes; we had it hanging above his doorway in just a few seconds more. While he currently only weighs around 130 lbs., it feels rock solid, which suggests to me it could easily handle more. The material is just heavy-duty enough to get the job done, while being lightweight enough to easily remove and store in a closet when necessary. My son has taken to doing three quick pull-ups each time he passes his door, which means in the months since he's had it, this chin up bar has already seen hundreds of uses. After such use, it looks and feels brand new. We can't speak to it's being good for a heavier or bigger person, but for a trim young man it is perfect. I normally use terms like "for the money", but in this case I can't imagine anything working any better at any price. Solid product. Review: Easy to set up, take down, and use. Would recommend - Received it within a few days of ordering. Pulled it out of the box and got it all set up within half an hour. Pretty simple instructions. I bought this to help me improves my pull up numbers for the Marine Corps PFT, so far I've noticed some improvements, and I haven't even had it for very long. The only pick I have on this product is having to put a the safety clip into the door frame. I was fairly nervous about that but I think we've all seen the videos of people falling from the bar, so its safe to say that it's necessary. I would definitely recommend a pull up bar, and this one gets the job done at a very reasonable price. Easy to set up and even take down when not in use. I have it in a spot where I am always walking past it, and I rep out pull ups nearly a half dozen times a day. Good little workout right at home. ## Features - Best Pull Up Bar For Home Gyms - Tone your back, arms, and core with this doorway pull up bar! See how the one bar is super long? So on the inside of your doorway, look up at the trim. You hammer a metal bracket that has a spiked section into the tiny space between the wall and the door trim - you wedge it in. Now, see how the other horizontal bar is much shorter? That section sits into the bracket, and the long bar is positioned on the opposite side of the doorway with the foam covered handles resting on the door trim. When you hang from it, those handles are pressing against the door frame. I'm not the best at describing this but trust me it works and was SUPER easy to "install". **Q: My door frame is at least 7 inches wide, will this fit? I bought another one recently and my door frame was too wide for it** A: That must be a typo, no door frame outside of Lilliput is 7 inches wide. It works fine on 32 inch but just barely on a 36 inch. **Q: My doorframe (including the molding inside the door frame which stops the door) is 23 inches wide. Would it still fit this doorframe?** A: Hi, the part that rests on the top of the door framing is 17 in wide. The bar is 36 in wide so you would need that much room on one side of the door or the other. **Q: Where is it made?** A: İn usa ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Perfect for a 130 lbs. I bought it just to setup & do the occasional pull up and have no complaints, although I gave 4 stars because it didn't come with instructions, which may be an issue for a very small portion of people. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sagler Pull up bar Doorway Heavy Duty Chin up bar Trainer for Home Gym Doorway Pull up bar or dip bar - VEICK Resistance Bands, Exercise Bands, Workout Bands Set for Working Out with Handles for Men Women, Elastic Exercising Bands for Fitness Weights Work Out at Home Gym --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/36900295-sagler-pull-up-bar-doorway-heavy-duty-chin-up-bar](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/36900295-sagler-pull-up-bar-doorway-heavy-duty-chin-up-bar) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
