## Overview

The Ames PS450 Peel & Stick Seam Tape is a 4-inch by 50-foot self-adhesive rubber tape designed to reinforce seams and joints on multiple surfaces including concrete and metal. Its water-resistant, fleece-backed construction ensures durability against temperature changes and weather exposure, making it an essential prep step for roof and surface coatings. Proudly made in the USA, it offers professional-grade reliability with easy application and strong adhesion.

## Description

A contouring, self-adhesive, high-strength seam tape for concrete, metal, and many other surfaces. Seam taping is an easy process and an important step in properly preparing your surface before applying Ames coatings and paints. Hot and cold temperature changes will cause a roof, wall, or deck to expand and contract. Over time, s and leaks can develop. The purpose of seam taping is to provide reinforcement over areas prone to splitting, such as seams or joints, and create a “bridge” that ties the surfaces together so water cannot seep through. Seam tape is used around roof vents, on flashings, over s and gaps, along the seams on metal or RV roofs, and in many other applications.
