This was a Christmas present for our daughter. The quality is great and the detail is so beautiful I give this five stars it did not disappoint and shipped earlier then expected. Very nice.

Loose wheels, a bad bearing, and very slow
I'm disappointed in the quality control. When my daughter's board arrived, all four wheel nuts were loose and one wheel was noisy and wobbly. I tightened them enough to take the slop out and three wheels seemed fine. The bearing on the fourth wheel was still noisy and wobbly, but I figured it will probably be okay for a 6-year-old (and bearings are easy enough to replace if needed). She loves the unicorn graphic on the bottom and that it has her name on the top, but quickly became disappointed that it was so slow compared to the adult board (with large, soft, cruiser wheels) she has been riding. I tried it and it is indeed very slow. I (180 lbs) got a good push on a street going slightly downhill and the board slowed down and stopped after about 25 yrds. There are three age/weight options on the board. Though my daughter is 6, she's very tall and 65 lbs so I didn't want to get her there 5-7 yr (40-60 lb) board, and I decided to skip the 8-10 yr (60-80 lb) board (she'll be 80 lbs soon enough) and got her the 11-12 (80-100 lb) board. I don't know if there is a difference in the trucks/bearings/wheels or if the only difference is the size of the deck, but IMO a board for 11-12 yr olds should be able to keep rolling downhill. I ordered faster (53mm, 99a) wheels after 2 days. The seller said the only set they had in the color I (she) wants had been mounted on a board and a few people had demo'ed it in their shop, but if I was okay with very lightly used wheels, they would include the bearings for free, so we'll see how the board does with new wheels and new bearings. Lastly, I like the idea of a bamboo deck, but it seems to be less abrasion resistant than maple. We'll see how well the bottoms of the tips hold up after a few months of scraping.

Great product
Great product. Can interchange parts with adult professional grade parts if needed which is a plus. Love the personalized name under the grip tape so it won't be easily worn off. Big fan so far. Now lets see how it holds up as I try to remember how to ollie n kick flip so i can teach my daughter. Maybe ill buy one for myself. Im 280lbs shes 90. Fingers crossed.

This skateboard is absolutely beautiful. My three year old will turn four in a couple of months and this will be a birthday present. She has been obsessed with skateboards for the last year and every time we go to store, I find myself on the skateboard aisle for an hour holding her hand while she "rides". I didn't know much about skateboards but I have a friend who loves to skate, so she told me not to buy a cheap board because it would break and that the balance of he board would be all wrong and would end up giving my daughter less confidence on a board. So, after much research, I decided on the skatexs board. I can't wait to give this to her. I know that at four, her abilities will be limited but I feel better knowing she will have a proper board upon which to learn and advance. And it is absolutely stunning.

My daughter loves it!
My daughter borrowed my son's skateboard, liked it but decided she wanted one, except it had to be "gorgeous". We looked everywhere and couldn't find one she liked until she saw this one. I ordered because she wouldn't accept any other one but was concerned with the quality. When it arrived she fell in love with it. It's not only "gorgeous" but it is well made and perfect for her. No regrets. Highly recommend.
