BLACKHAWK Coil Style Tactical Pistol Lanyard

I really like how quiet this lanyard is when using it in the field. I also like that the belt loop is easily attached to my belt or chest rig. Everything is very secure and it's not too long that it gets in the way.

Perfect for my law enforcement position...

I bought this lanyard for the sole purpose of making sure I don't get separated from my carry while kayaking. Nothing could be more irritating to lose at the bottom of the lake/river than my favorite handgun.It appears to be of good quality. I have used it twice now and am comfortable carrying my handgun on the water. I attached the lanyard to my belt and handgun and yanked on either end. It held firm and seems like I won't have any issues with it unless I am actually trying to break it off.This specific lanyard does not have a detachable 'quick release' to detach your firearm from your belt, but that is not an issue as I knew that by reading the description. I also feel more comfortable with a solid piece, as my main goal is to not lose my gun in the water.If you are traveling in areas you could lose your handgun (such as on water) this is a must.

So far so good, I use when hunting so that there is no accidental drops from stands, etc. there’s only two things I’m not a fan of. When the wire is fully uncoiled, it is long. This wire WILL NOT break a fall to the ground, in fact might not break a fall from 7-8 feet lol. That being said, it’s best use is going to mainly be to just not lose your pistol. Secondly, I like the versatility of the Velcro for the belt loop portion, however after a good bit of use the Velcro gets warn out pretty easily.

This product comes exactly how you see it. It's simple and it works. There are no fancy snaps or swivels but, unless you are removing your firearm constantly, they would be unnecessary anyway. I bought this lanyard to use with concealed carry. My reasoning for this purchase (since I ride my motorcycle every day) was to insure I don't lose my firearm in the event of an accident. It works perfectly. There's nothing to foul up here. With the exception of manufactural defects (which, judging by the quality of mine, doesn't seem likely) you have nothing to worry about with this lanyard. I am 5' 9" but I don't see anyone of any size having any trouble with reaching a full draw. Also, it is very easy to conceal. Even if someone catches a glance of the coiled cable, most would chock it off to being attached to a wallet or something - Highly recommended.

I do armed security in some of the more sketchy places in my city. I'm glad I have this, goes well with Blackhawks level 3 holsters.

As advertised, the cord is rather long in my opinion, but not too big of a deal

This is a really nice lanyard. Though, mine did not come with any of the parts at the end of the cord. It says 550 cord and that's what you get, a loop of gutted 550. Really not that big of a deal, but would have liked to have their connection system. I overcame this with a clip I had of my own. Either way, I love Blackhawk products and I'm very happy with this one as well. Now back to working on M4 to 9mm transitions...lol. Don't be afraid to purchase this, "It's a Blackhawk"....enough said.

Gute Waffensicherung für Kurzwaffen.Die Pistole wird mittels Schlaufe am Sicherungsriemen befestigt. Die Kletthalterung für Gürtel bzw. Koppel ist robust und dürfte sich auch nach Jahren nicht abnutzen. Der Riemen ist leicht, aber stabil und zudem lang genug, ohne zu spannen.Ein zuverlässiger Schutz vor Verlust.
