The instructions, assembly and quality are top notch. I replaced a cheaper not to be named brand antenna that I bought because I didn't want to spend the money on this one. This antenna doubled my signal strength reported by my TV and pulled in some very distant channels. Was planning installing this on the roof but after some experimenting with placement in the attic it did all I needed from there. This is a pretty big antenna and it's very sturdy. Excellent product all the way around. The only negative is it does not come with coax. Review: Outstanding Performance and Build Quality! - I installed the DAT BOSS Mix LR in a rural area with fringe reception, and the difference was immediate. It pulled in crystal-clear HD channels from towers over 60 miles away that my previous antenna couldn't touch. The automatic signal filtering (TForce technology) completely eliminated interference, giving me a rock-solid picture on every channel. Setup was straightforward, and the sturdy construction easily stands up to high winds and rain. If you need a serious, long-range outdoor antenna to cut the cord for good, this is worth every penny. Highly recommended! ## Features - Premium Long-Range High VHF/UHF Reception – Outdoor directional antenna optimized for High VHF and UHF broadcast TV signals with a built-in TForce preamplifier designed for challenging long-range and fringe reception scenarios up to 100 miles from transmitters. - TForce Intelligent Gain Control – Proprietary BOSS-Tech system automatically adjusts amplification independently by band (38 dBi High VHF, 46 dBi UHF) to maintain stable output even when signal conditions fluctuate, preventing both weak reception and overload. - Integrated FM / LTE / 4G / 5G Filtering – Built-in filtering helps reduce interference from nearby cellular and FM radio sources for clearer TV reception. - Directional Stacked Triple-Boom Design – Proprietary Televes stacked triple-boom layout with multiple directors and reflectors focuses reception toward broadcast towers to deliver market-leading raw gain while maintaining a compact, install-friendly form factor. This is the way my current 2 are.** A: Yes it can and Televes now makes a programmable antenna combiner called the SmartKom 531981. It works perfect for combining up to 3 antennas. The Televes SmartKom also supplies the power to the built in pre-amps on Televes antennas (and others that take 12volts) so you can eliminate the antenna power inserters. It also has programmable filters to eliminate co-interference between the 2 (or 3) antennas. They're new and selling out often. **Q: Is this antenna mast compatible with a rotator?** A: Be sure the rotor supports the combined weight of the upper mast section, the antenna, and cable. **Q: Does anyone know the length between the two mast attachments? I.e. The length of the mast from the top to the bottom.** A: Short answer: 15 inches. The two mast clamps need minimum of 15 inches to attach correctly. A very good question as I had to extend my mast length to fit. **Q: Can this antenna work with canadian vhf channel cbc from winsor on?** A: It works with high vhf/ uhf. But not lo-vhf. If that's the same as USA. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the money! *by W***E on September 25, 2026* I wish I could give this antenna 10 stars! This antenna has the amplifier built into the antenna itself so it it amplifies the signal not the noise. Unfortunately just weeks after installation we took a lightning hit right next to the house. after that no reception with the new antenna. I took the antenna down called the service department in PA It was after noon Friday I was on with the department in just a couple minutes. The engineer was very good and in less than 10 minutes he had my information and the replacement part off to Fed-ex. The part arrived Sunday afternoon I installed it and the system is working great. Oh and regarding performance I live in Northeast Scottsdale on a hillside. I get all the local high and low power channels. I also can watch several Tuscon channels from close to 100 miles away ## Frequently Bought Together - Televes DATBOSS LR Mix Hi-VHF UHF Long Range Antenna with 5G Filter 75 Mile Range 149884 - THE CIMPLE CO Coaxial Cable Connectors, 3GHz High Frequency, Ground Block, Coax Extender, RG6, Single Port, Weather Seal Boots, F-Type, Antenna, Satellite Dish, Cable TV, Grounding - 50ft Quad Shield Solid Copper 3GHZ RG-6 Coaxial Cable 75 Ohm (DIRECTV Satellite TV or Broadband Internet) Anti Corrosion Brass Connector RG6 Fittings Assembled in USA by PHAT SATELLITE INTL --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/372464759-televes-dat-boss-mix-lr-149884-hdtv-antenna-long-range](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/372464759-televes-dat-boss-mix-lr-149884-hdtv-antenna-long-range) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
