To supply gas to the heater they ONLY have the "disposable tank" port forcing you to get a hose like the F273704 (a hose like the F271803 won't work). That hose I'm suggesting doesn't require the "filter" (item F273699), but any other hose like it will need the filter. No hose comes with this, so you need to buy it separate (or add it to the order yourself). **Q: Operate above 7000 feet???** A: Probably not, these heaters were advertised as 9000' max but the 2 I bought would not work at 8600'. I contacted Mr Heater and they said it was a misprint because they use the same sensor as the buddy heaters which is 7000' max. **Q: Does it have a built in fan?** A: No, this doesn't have a fan.
