First, they cannot share because even though there are three rockets, there is only one launcher. But eventually they took turns. It's a simple toy and we're seen many demonstrations of the concept at museums or hands-on science fairs. The kids knew what to expect, but getting there was harder than they anticipated. After a few minutes, they were ready to give up -- the rocket barely left the launcher, flying only 1-2 feet. Suggestions from dad when unheeded; and grandma chimed in that she had bought it for her boys and it never performed.Well, my brother had this toy and I knew what it could do (even though I was hardly allowed to touch it)! Aligning everything perfectly and squeezing the end valve while pressurizing, I got it to launch 8 feet on the first go.
