Very good retention and fit. It may appear flimsy as it flexes when pinched, but it's sturdy and doesn't flex under normal use. I think this was intentional in order to make it as thin and comfortable as possible. Even the name suggests it--"Slim Tuk". The tuckable C-clip is why I got this so I can tuck in my shirt at work. High quality clip that locks with jaws! With tuckable clips, you need to use wider, sturdier belts to minimize holster movement. I wore a cheap Chaoren leather ratchet belt bought from desertcart, and it works well, but does have some movement. Gotta thank DeSantis for bringing high quality made in USA products at very competitive pricing! Review: Best Holster Yet - I’ve been on the hunt for a holster that doesn’t leave an imprint and is comfortable. I’ve had leather holsters and kydex holsters but I think this is the best one yet! It checks both of those boxes. Before this holster, I was using the Q Series holster. It was good at not leaving an imprint but it was kind of uncomfortable. Also, the retention on it was too tight with no adjustment. I carry at 2 o clock and it would jab into my thigh when I bent down on sat down in the car. If you’ve seen the Q Series holster for the MP shield you would see that there’s this bulge that pokes out that stabs your leg. I had to modify it to make it slightly more bearable. The Desantis holster doesn’t jab into me and it’s still slim enough to not leave an imprint! I’m able to bend over, wear it while I’m driving and do many things with it and still have it be comfortable. It has an adjustable retention and an adjustable cant angle too, making it perfect! There are two cons about this holster. First is, I wish that the clip was metal. Second con is, the clip moves slightly. Other than that, I think this is the final holster I will have to buy! Unless that clip breaks on me. ## Features - CONCEAL CARRY IWB HOLSTER - The Slim-Tuk is a minimal, ambidextrous IWB holster, fashioned from durable Kydex. Will this accommodate a 4" barrel Shield? It is ok if it protrudes.** A: It is not flared but rather rolled over to be almost a closed end. I assume this is for comfort, but no the longer slide shield would not fit this one they may have a model that it would however. **Q: Will this fit a Kahr MK40?** A: Thanks for reaching out. This particular holster will not be able to fit your MK40. Please give us a call at 1-800-GUNHIDE so that we can help you find an IWB holster for your Kahr. **Q: Is this for shield 9mm or .40 or .45?** A: It fits the 9mm & the .40. NOT the .45. **Q: Does it scrates the the frame or slide?** A: I have been using this holster for some time now, and it has not given any marks on my Shield. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well known brand name, made in USA at cheap Chinese clone prices! *by S***E on April 9, 2024* It does what it is supposed to do very well while being minimalist in design. Even though I'm told the Shield 30 Super Carry is the exact same dimension and the Shield 9 Plus it would be great if the description was updated to reflect that. It was nerve racking for when my 30 SC and this holster arrived and got to put them together. It fits great and was exactly what I was looking for! It is slim, lightweight, and adds zero bulk to the gun. I'm still giving this fantastic holster five stars even though I had to disassemble it right after putting my firearm in it the first time. It was to loose and the tension screw wouldn't tighten down anymore. The end the screw was gunked up with possibly blue locktite, but after cleaning and reassembling with my own locktite I got the perfect retention I wanted. ## Frequently Bought Together - DeSantis Slim-Tuk - IWB Holster for Men and Women, Pistol Holster for Concealed Carry, Suitable for Appendix Wear, Ambidextrous, Made with Kydex, Adjustable Tension, Tuckable 360 C-Clip - MUNALO Holster Wedge Appendix Carry Wedge Kit Universal Holster Foam Pad IWB Holster Foam Backer Concealed Carry Accessories for Better Concealment and Comfort - CYA Supply Co.
