This item gets VERY hot. Must be set on a surface—cannot be hand held.. that said, it makes steam you can breathe in. The face part is quite hard and gets hot except where it can meet the skin which stays a lot cooler.. If you’re looking to use it often splurge on the my pure mist . But if you’re not expecting to have a lot of use this is fine. I had that other brand and didn’t need to use it for several years : went to use it—wouldn’t work. Did I leave water in it? I can’t remember..mpm requires distilled water… the crane sinus inhaler use any plain water… also a plus.. so 3 Stars.. it’s ok but if you plan on a lot of use buy mpm instead. NOT FOR CHILDREN under 16. Gets too hot and basically ties you to sitting in front of a table when using.

this is very disappointed to note that this seller will not accept even if the product does not work. I am shocked to know that Amazon also have sellers with NO RETURN and won't take their product back even if it does not work

It works OK but if I could return it, I would. Doesn’t work like I thought it would. I would prefer more steam. Between a one and a 10 I would probably give it a five..

Burnt surface - be careful

This is everything it said it was. However, I have a very small face and this covered my whole entire face into my hair line. Wish it had multiple sizes to choose from. Also, it gets awfully hot. Definitely not a hand held item.
