Review: Best microphone I invested in - I recently started using this wireless saxophone microphone for gigs and rehearsals, and it’s been a game-changer. The setup was incredibly straightforward—pairing the transmitter and receiver took less than a minute. Once connected, the signal is rock-solid with no noticeable latency, even when moving around a stage or walking through the audience. The sound quality is excellent; it captures the full warmth and dynamics of my saxophone without distortion or feedback. The clip is secure yet gentle on the bell, and the lightweight design means you barely notice it’s there. Battery life easily lasts through multiple sets, and recharging is quick and hassle-free. What I appreciate most is the freedom to move without being tied down by cables. It’s perfect for live performances, busking, and even studio sessions where mobility is key. For the price and quality, this is an outstanding option for any saxophonist looking to go wireless. Highly recommended!
Review: Nice microphone - Nice microphone I wasn’t sure how well this product would sound. I had the opportunity to try it out this weekend at two different gigs. Before doing the gigs, I gave it a run-through in my studio. I worked with the EQ and different settings to see what sounded best with my soprano, tenor, and alto saxophones. Sound: the overall sound was really good. I noticed a lot of key noise, but I was able to work with the EQ to bring those clicks down. I noticed that of the three settings on the microphone the alto setting had the best overall sound and worked well on all three of my horns. I was able to EQ the mic to drastically minimized the key noise mentioned earlier even during quiet passages a backing tracks. This was not as noticeable when playing with live musicians or loud passages. The mic works very well indoors but picks up any kind of wind noise outside. Also, be careful around fans. The slightest breeze can cause serious noise issues and even feedback. Battery life: The unit came fully charged so and has lasted more than four hours. I did turn it off between sets. I will definitely be charging it before the next gig. In use: My first event was an outdoor gig in a park. The mic was unusable. It created lots of feedback, wind noise, and other issues. Fortunately, I was prepared with my backup system. On the plus side though, I was able to play roughly 175 feet away from the receiver. My second event was an indoor gig. The mic worked flawlessly. I was able to interact with the crowd and play without a thought of the system. I was very pleased. The unit is light and secures to my horn well. I plugged the receiver directly into my Boss VE20 and also tried it directly into my Bose L1 Pro8. Both ways worked well. I like the packaging, the way the receiver fits directly into my mixer and or amp, and that the microphone is secure on my horns. I like that it charges in its case. Very well designed. I will definitely recommend this product. I plan to re-review the product after more uses. I have not charged it yet and I am concerned about the battery life. I hoping for as least a couple of years since the battery is non-user replaceable.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do the 3 eq options for alto, soprano and tenor work well?**
A: Yes but no real noticeable difference playing live in rock/blues band. I play tenor so that's the setting I use.

**Q: My nevew is bringing this home from the stares to Ireland, will i still be able to charge it as its 230 power supply in Ireland?**
A: Charges thru a usb port

**Q: Is this true diversity?**
A: Not sure what you mean by diversity, but It works really well and I'm happy with the set up. They automatically stay charged up by the carry case. Just push a button on the case. Easy to set up. Turn the two pieces on and they automatically pair. Good sound and volume. I play with guitars that are pretty loud and the Baritone sax gets washed out by them. When I solo, the guy on the mixer turns me up a bit. Seems to have good range too. I'm able to go out in the crowd and still play. It's a good set up for what I do.

**Q: i bought this , recieved this and was expecting awesome sound , something is not right the sound is very muffled and thinking of returning help?**
A: Sounds like you need to EQ your sound system. Also, it requires phantom power which will give it a boost.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pleasantly Surprised
*by J***. on July 22, 2022*

I have used this microphone for about a dozen outdoor gigs this summer and so far, I have been very satisfied with its performance. I have not once ran out of power or exceeded the maximum range. Twice I have encountered some interference that was intermittent and as randomly as it came, it went away. I appreciate the design of the microphone itself; it is easy to switch from saxophone to saxophone and provides a snug fit that does not appear to be harming the finish of the instrument at all. The entire unit seems to be built solidly. I can say that I dropped the receiver on concrete and it shows no sign of malfunctioning even though I scuffed it up a good bit. I think the charging case concept is great as it is sort of a failsafe in case I forget to plug it in before the next gig. I have been satisfied with the quality of the sound I am getting from the microphone; I find the EQ modes do make a slight difference in the sound. I'm not sure why it is solely marketed for saxophones, it seems just about any brass instrument would be fine with it. The biggest con is the lack of a mute button. Turning it on and off is a bit too time consuming when switching instruments between songs. If I do turn off the microphone, it is difficult to tell if I switched it back on because in any amount of sun, you cannot see the LED on the microphone. You can on the receiver, so I find myself looking over at the board to be sure it is connected. Also, if you do encounter interference, you are simply out of luck as there is no way to change the channel. I do anticipate getting diminishing returns on the battery life at some point but at this price point, I am okay with it. I'm not playing with Earth Wind and Fire so for my purposes, this microphone is great and I would highly recommend it for any in a band like my own.
