LiftBoard Single Motor Belt Driven Electric Skateboard, Black, 39"

I generally hate to write bad reviews but I gave it three stars only because it's a remote controlled, electric skateboard, which in the right hands can be a fun mode of transportation. Also the battery life is pretty decent and it can climb slight hills--15 degrees might be a bit of a stretch depending on how much you weigh. The turning is also responsive and at low speeds the electric brake is cool.But the deal breaker for me which is why I sent it back is that from time to time, the remote and the skateboard will just disconnect momentarily. Also the throttle on the remote isn't very linear. You have to move real slow with it, otherwise it can take off on you. I was skating along on a street and went to hit the brakes and it wouldn't stop, in fact it just kept the throttle down and was flying. I had no choice but to dive off the board. The board did great, didn't suffer a scratch, meanwhile I had road rash. Call me particular if you like, but having a rogue skateboard under my feet which can suddenly decide to do what it wants, with or without me, is just not acceptable.

Initially it worked great for my son at college. He used it to get around on the campus - was a Christmas present for him. He got to the end of his 1st semester at about the 3.5 months of use point, and the plastic gear box that connects to the drive belt cracked off. Vendor said sorry, they would not honor the warranty. Just wasted $300 after shipping. Would recommend not to buy - buy a higher quality board.

I bought this board because I was trying to get an electric skateboard that was on the cheaper end in order to save money. I was riding this board on beginner mode and on the THIRD DAY of riding, the back right wheel literally fell off AS I WAS RIDING IT. I fell pretty badly and was PISSED. That was unacceptable. I immediately returned it and bought a 1200 dollars boosted board. Boosted is SO MUCH BETTER. Yes, I spent a lot of money, but with something that can be potentially very dangerous, don't do what i did and go for the cheap option. You get what you pay for here, folks. I did not listen to the bad reviews of this board and thought "oh, that is their fault" or "Nope, that wont happen to me", but it did. Lesson learned.

Bought it Christmas 2016 for my 16 year old son. He loves it and has been using it a lot. So far so good!!

Broke within 5 uses. We left town for a couple weeks soon after purchase and when we got back it broke and was already out of the return window. Screws loosened and fell out while riding. Belt area fell off and dragged and we haven't been able it to fixit. That was an expensive five rides.

I can only get 4 miles out of it after only one week. I will try to return it

board is perfect. no problems so far. great customer service as well. ill update soon to see if battery holds up!

My daughter is 85 lbs...as soon as she turned it from beginner to full power one of the motors stopped working and now it kicks in a random making the board unrideable.

I bought TWO (2) of these skateboards and they both broke after just 2 to 3 months. First, the rubber drive belt kept breaking after just a few uses.

Loved this thing out of the box my lil boy was so happy!! at least he got one charge out of it bfor it broke and we return it thank you for making my 6 yr old cry alot!

Horrible I do not recommend it.

So it is a lower end board so keep that in mind. It won't be as good as a boosted board or Evolve but what I really like is the customer service.

I used my daughters and loved it. I live in Cocoa Beach where biking for transportation is common. But I've gotta get one of these for the fun alone.
