I'd Buy This Again & Again. Infact-I Did!
So... I went to Best Buy to check out new printers. The Epson Artisian I purchased from them 3 years ago decided not to connect to my computer to print photos. I could still print docs., scan, and fax. (who sends faxes anymore?) I asked them if they could fix it. I was advised they'd be happy torecycle it for me, but not fix it. Thanks, I paid over $300 for it.I looked at this Canon TS9020 display model. I was standing next to a professional photographer who said he loved his and the photos are perfect. He was purchasing another for a friend. Well, I wasn't about to buy another expensive printer without checking them out. After which I decided to purchase this on Amazon. I'm a prime member, I shop several times a month here, I trust Amazon, plus the price was much better. I had my new Canon in 2 days. (no fax option). After, what I thought was a pretty easy set-up the first thing I did was print a photo and to my amazement the photo was beautiful. The colors and sharpness are unbelievable to me. I was so pleased. After a week of non-use I had to print a receipt for my husband. But nothing happened. The response I got was that the "Proper Print-head Had to Be Installed" WHAT??? So I called Canon Support. I got a wonderful lady who quickly got her hands on one just like mine, Red. She walked me through adjusting the print head. Boy was I scared to touch anything inside other than loading the ink cartridges. But she also sent me photos ofwhere exactly to do this. After an hour on the phone, nthing worked. And me almost in tears over losing this beautiful printer, but she calmed me down. "No Biggie" she laughed, "we'll just send you another one."NO! I didn't want a rebuilt printer, this was only 2 weeks old and printed one photo. I was assured I'd get a new printer. All I had to do was keep the ink cartridges and send the printer back once I received the replacement. Replacement, to me, sounded like "rebuilt".Ten days later the printer came. The box looked as if I'd been in or near the Afghan war. It was practically shredded, covered in black grease of some kind, and the address label to me was totally unreadable. I could even see into the box from a torn corner. Holy Molly, Amazon never shipped this way. Where had this poor Canon come from? Certainly not the U.S.I let the box sit in the entry hall for 2 days just in case something live wanted to crawl out of it. After my husband was done tripping over it his look toward me said it was time to open the box. And I did.To my complete surprise and pleasure, a beautiful red, brand new unharmed printer was securely packed into the box, and nothing living inside.I wanted to cry, again. Another easy setup. Now I've had this hooked up for a week now and I couldn't be happier with the quality of printing, scanning, photos and ease of use. I've always been a Canon snob as all my cameras are Canon, they just make the best. I love Amazon, but now I love Canon even more. Great job to all involved. Wow, ink is sure expensive, right?

Print head malfunction out of box, returned - was to replace Canon MX 922 I hate, it still works but not worth the frustration
Update - the second one also did not work. The second one had multiple different error codes in a row which were able to be cleared, but finally also gave me the 5100 error code, which could not be cleared. So, I give up, returning this one too and moving on to a new brand after almost 20 years of using Canon printers. It's sad they are such cheaply made junk now.The printer did not work right out of the box, plugged in to see 5100 error. Inserted ink tanks, restarted printer - observed nothing lights up on the print head. Called Canon, went through steps to attempt to get it to work, wasted hours of my life in frustration. This was supposed to replace the MX922 that needs alignment with cardstock every 4 months or so to fix a wavy line problem that returns.I haven't had a great Canon printer for a while - super sad, but I keep hoping because I hated the HP and the Epson I tried after whatever one I didn't like before the MX922.I ordered a replacement TS9020, so hopefully, the next one will actually work when it arrives. One annoying issue with the TS9020 which is not apparent when you look at it online is the paper is larger than the paper tray. You have to expand the tray to make 8"x11" paper fit into it. I would think standard-size paper would fit into a paper tray without expanding the tray. This is a stupid design. The result is the now expanded tray extends beyond the front of the printer a few inches, which looks very odd. My printer sits on a drawer in my desk, so nobody will see it, but they show it in the pictures out on tables without the tray sticking out. It ruins the look of the printer in my opinion and if mine was going to be sitting out, I wouldn't select this.

No Problems here. Take your time folks. Great little printer
So far I am unable to figure out why all the bad reviews on set up and quality? I patiently followed the manual. I removed all the protective tabs appropriately. This product was packaged very well to avoid damage. I look forward to printing photos. I was gifted full inks and full packages of photo papers large and small. This was a surprise. I only expected sample packs. Ty very much. The software installation was a breeze. And for the printer itself, it is not flimsy cheap. It is lightweight design. It is not intended to be tossed around. Gentle touch and it opens closes easy. No force required! Lol. I think people with lack of patience are giving this beautiful printer a bad reputation. Anyone reading this please note it is not the printer with the problems. When I was following the instructions and taking my time, I could see where other people may have messed it up for themselves. This is a great machine for the price. I am glad I ignored the bad reviews. It us months later and I still love this printer!!!!!
