A lot of Cat cables are made of stranded cable to increase flexibility, but where high performance is needed, solid core cables are better. This cable is 22 Awg solid core, which is the largest gauge available, meaning it’s not very flexible and needs space where it’s being used and connected into equipment, but the results are worth it for streaming hi res music, where the Linkup cable transfers the signal and keeps noise out. Lesser cables like a regular Cat6 give a harshness and grain to the sound.

This Cat8 cable is made to a really high standard, including the RJ45 connectors. Usato per collegare due switch (D-Link GSC108 e Uptone EtherRegen) in un sistema di streaming audio. Rispetto ad un generico cavo RJ45 cat8 ha apportato un significativo miglioramento della qualità. Confrontato ad un cavo Supra cat8 di prezzo equivalente, si preferisce per una maggiore naturalezza.
