Surface Pen,Zodiac Surface Pro Pen for Microsoft Surface Pro 6,Surface Pro 5,Surface Pro 4, Surface Pro 3, Surface Book, Aluminum Body with Eraser and Right Click Buttons

I bought this to use with my new Microsoft Surface Pro (2017). I'm a student, so having a pen is great because I can use it to take notes in class. I didn't want to fork over $100 for a Microsoft Pen, so I decided to get this one with the idea that if it didn't work I'd bite the bullet and just get the Microsoft pen. Unfortunately, it's looking like I'll have to. It was delivered yesterday and I'm already having issues with it not reading down strokes in OneNote. It's extremely frustrating and I'm looking at not being able to use it to take notes at the start of the semester. It works fine for use with coloring in the Zen app, but it's extremely frustrating to have to attempt to write a W five times because the down strokes won't register. I've tried cleaning both my screen and the tip, but I'm continuing to have the same problem.

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the surface pen because I lost mine. First, I like that this is significantly thinner than the surface pen, it is much more comfortable to hold. Also, I have had no issues with the responsiveness of the pen, which I did have some with the surface pen. I actually like writing with this one significantly more. I also like that it includes two different tips, I've only really tried the finer point of the two but it's nice to have options. The only reason I'm docking it a star is because it doesn't have the simple eraser function that the surface pen has. Holding down the button to erase is a bit of a pain and I frequently accidentally hit it while writing. Overall, great stylus for a good price. I'm probably going to buy myself another one just in case I lose my current one.

I bought this stylus because I lost my Surface Pro 4 stylus and needed a replacement. At less than half the cost of the Microsoft one, it was well worth it. The only difference I noticed was the lack of push button on top, but I never used it to begin with. It synced the the Surface Pro 4 very quickly and after I was using about a week I found my original one. After some thought I decided to keep using the Zodiac stylus as I enjoyed how it wrote more than my original one. I would recommend this stylus to anyone who is looking for either a replacement or even their first one.

The price, compared to the Windows pen, is great. It works properly and the button to switch between pen and erasers is very useful. However, the magnet is not the best. It barely sticks to the side of a Surface Pro 4. As soon as you move your Surface the pen will most likely fall, which is annoying, especially if you have no other place to keep the pen.

I bought this pen nearly a year ago after my surface pen stopped working, and it still works amazingly. When you first get it, it feels like the pen glides across the screen way faster than the surface pen does when drawing, but you get used to it. The battery maybe lasts a few months at a time, I haven’t been keeping track, but I bought some AAAA batteries from amazon and it works great. The only concerns I have is sometimes it double clicks, right clicks, or just doesn’t write at all. It’s only occasionally, and you can just undo and draw the line again. Also, I never use the two buttons, and sometimes when I draw I’ll accidentally click them. The buttons are more of an annoyance in my opinion, but maybe some people like them. One last thing: after nearly a year with drawing almost daily with this pen, I recently noticed the tip is becoming slightly frayed. It doesn’t affect the performance, but I’m worried it will later on when it gets worse.Anyway, it works great, and the pen pressure is really good. Overall, I’d say you’d get your money’s worth buying this pen.

I received the stylus within a day and was very happy with it. As soon as I put the battery in it automatically worked on my Surface Book. For me, this pen writes way better than the newer Surface Pen. I had the old surface pen but the plastic part of the pen tip broke within a few months. When I went back to the store to get a replacement they said there was a newer Surface Pen and it was "much more durable" than the previous stylus (however the pen tip sure looked just as flimsy as my original stylus). I decided to give it a try but here I am 2 months later and my new "durable" Surface Pen tip has broken again. Being a student unable to write on my Surface Book is frustrating so I decided to purchase the Zodiac Active Wireless Stylus Pen (it's much cheaper than buying another $100 Surface Pen that consistently had issues). There are reviews saying this pen does not last more than a month and I guess I will see if they are true in a months time. Considering my previous experience with Surface Pens, even if this stylus stops working in a month it is much cheaper to buy another one compared to a Surface Pen.

On regular Surface 3 it's not sensitive enough. Pen lags/stutters and really doesn't have a 'true pen' feel like I hear people talking about.Regardless of how many or how little apps running - it's just laggy and not a good experience.Also, when I removed the black marker from the side of the pen the logo says ASUS. Some folks say theirs says Sony.If it really is the name brand 'Asus' it probably didn't meet the standards - hence covering up the brand.The pen doesn't appear to have a magnet at all.. if it does, it doesn't stick to anything.

Pen worked out of box. Thought it was busted, but had the battery in backwards, so my fault. Once righted, it worked without any installation.The pen has no weight to it, it's too light. The Microsoft pen it's replacing had a better feel.The killer, and reason for the 2 stars, is that the buttons are practically invisible. They can barely be felt, too. I can't use this pen, as it takes quite a bit of time to find the buttons if I move my hand position.

Pretty good quality, great value too. Works pretty well with my Surface Book 2, there's a bit of a lag sometimes but not a lot. Also it's only kind of magnetic, it's not strong enough to actually stay at the top, it'll stick but slide all the way down. But for the most part I like using it, and it's cheaper than buying the Surface Pen.

A bit short so takes a little getting used to, but as it was picked up as a spare to have in my case I'm not disappointed.Mine says ASUS under the ink and since my device is ASUS I'm OK with that.

It works basically EXACTLY like I expected it to. There's no fuss about bluetooth connection and whatnot. It's just wake the pen up and use it. The writing is so smooth, smoother than Wacom's Bamboo Ink. And it's way cheaper too. The eraser doesn't erase, but there's an erase button. There's palm rejection as well. I adore this stylus, would totally recommend it to friends. I'd give this 6/5 stars if I could.

so the pen works really well, automatic detection by Windows 10 and no lag or delay when using it.but it is not rechargeable and use one AAAA battery that last for about 1 month.so i'd recommend using a usb rechargeable pen. but this one does the job if you dont mind buying batteries often.

Replacement of our son's stylus pen that broke. It's an awesome product for the price we went to Microsoft and they wanted 120 to replace it . This works awesome for the fraction of the price.
