If appears strong, straight and true.It is less well engineered than the more expensive and branded alternative. There is no distortion/jjaws meet correctly, but the castings are a little rough around the edges. However, don't expect any change from £100 for a "branded" option." I paid £24 in. P&P, for this item.The application of some grease and some judicious filing will improve matters noticeably. The most improvement is to the rotation mechanism which is okay/functional, but a little cruder than, by way of example, Stanley vices.So with a big of fettling, you will have a strong and serviceable vice that will be of use in any DIY workshop/garage.Three mounting points and not four is okay, but unusual?Two securing nuts to the rotation is also strange, but probably best for the 360 degree rotation.I am happy - recommended.N. B.
