Now if you are sensitive to strong scents then don’t be so generous with it. I put this around my back door and you could smell it from the street. But does it’s job and keeps mosquitos at bay, now I do have to put new granules at least every 3 days because the smell does go down a little and some mosquitos do come through. But over all great product. It's basically granuals you shake on the ground. You're not treating flowers. **Q: Is this the same as mosquito bits to control fungus gnats?** A: No **Q: What are the #s like 680 RTS? What is the difference in the numbers?** A: I have no idea, I don't see that # anywhere on the container. All I know is tht it works, have been using for 2 summers and am happy with the effectiveness. Also it doesn't interest my dog so I feel safe using it **Q: What effect does it have on birds and/or squirrels?** A: The stuff that was put out this year said it was pet and child safe - I bought it at fleet farm and used it for camping.
