Equipped with a 10-year sealed battery and smart silence function, it minimizes false alarms from cooking fumes while delivering trusted protection certified to UK fire service standards. ## Description The Fireangel ST-750T is a 10 years sealed battery powered alarm equipped with the thermoptek muliti-sensor. The alarm responds twice as fast as a normal optical smoke alarm. The alarm's thermoptek sensor combines the optical sensing technology with a thermal enhancement to detect both fast flaming and slow smouldering fires. It constantly monitors for temperature change and if a sudden rise in temperature is detected the alarm sensitivity is increased. This smoke sensor makes it the technology of choice for the UK's fire and rescue service. Review: Simple & smart appearance, easy installation - Arrived very promptly. I was pleased to see that the expiry dates on my 3 units were Dec-2029 and Feb-2030, so they are evidently new stock. If you are wondering, like me, what the difference is between FireAngel's ST-620, ST-622 and ST-750 alarms, all of which are thermoptek, identical in size and seem to have the same specification in the data sheets & manuals supplied by FireAngel, the answer apparently is that the sensors are slightly different, the ST-750 being the newest. The face of the alarm is simple: one big button and one flashing light, unlike some that have multiple buttons for different purposes. There is a single LED that flashes every 40 seconds to show it is operational; I have yet to see how bright this appears at night, so I've not yet put up the one for my bedroom. Incredibly simple to put up; with two long slots in the base plate at 90 degrees to each other, it doesn't matter if your two screws don't go in exactly where you planned! and it means you can rotate the base plate a little if you want the face of the alarm aligned in a particular direction. I gave 5 stars for "battery life" on the basis that the battery is meant to last 10 years, which is a big bonus - no additional expenditure on an expensive 9V battery (or whatever) every two years. Obviously I'll only be able to comment on actual battery life in 2029! I was spending £10 ten years ago on basic smoke alarms, so this one is ace value, having a thermoptek 'heat & optical' sensor. The 'end of life' silence facility is an added bonus, so you aren't driven bonkers by the thing chirruping all night! (nor have to take it down and de-activate it) - it will keep protecting you for up to another 7 days, until you have been able to replace it. Brilliant! Review: Happy with the purchase - Very happy with the product. Easy to activate by connecting it to the main plate. I think some comments were because people didn't read instruction, so they believed that they received the product which doesn't work. The point is that alarm has to be activated. What has lots of sense. I have the same model in our rooms which were connected by fire brigade and one of them got faulty after 8 years, which I think it's not bad. I hope replacement will work for many years too. ## Features - Thermoptek multi-sensor rapidly detects fast flaming and slow smouldering fires - Smart silence - silence your smoke alarm by momentarily pressing the test button, ideal for nuisance alarms - Toast proof - less prone to nuisance alarms from cooking fumes - Designed to meet the specifications of the UK's fire and rescue service - Product life span: 10 years: Battery life: 10 year sealed for life battery - Certified to BS EN14604: 2005 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0725Q4DTL | | Alarm | Visual | | Best Sellers Rank | #3,160 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #7 in Smoke Alarms | | Brand | Fireangel | | Built-In Media | 1x FireAngel ST-750T Alarm, 1x Instruction Manual + Fittings | | Color | White | | Colour | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,751 Reviews | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 3.4D x 13W x 13H centimeters | | Item Type Name | Thermoptek Smoke Alarm | | Item Weight | 10 Grams | | Item weight | 10 Grams | | Manufacturer | FireAngel Safety Technology Limited | | Mfr Part Number | ST-750T | | Model Number | ST-750T | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Power source | Battery Powered | | Product Style | Single | | Product dimensions | 3.4D x 13W x 13H centimeters | | Sensor Type | Ionization | | Style | Single | | UPC | 816317004064 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upper Temperature Rating | 1 Degrees Celsius | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Fireangel - **Style:** Single - **Power source:** Battery Powered - **Colour:** White - **Product dimensions:** 3.4D x 13W x 13H centimeters ## Images ![FireAngel ST-750T Thermoptek Smoke Alarm - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61WsJRJQgEL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple & smart appearance, easy installation *by J***L on 19 April 2019* Arrived very promptly.
