A: Yes absolutely this borax is perfect for making crystals. I have personally used it to make crystals, slime, and laundry detergent.

**Q: What makes this borax "premium" above and beyond 20 Mule Team's version?**
A: Sorry, I don't know what would make it better. I just know that when I use Borax, I use it to supplement killing Roaches, inside and out. We have our home sprayed every 4 months, but I like to use this product to supplement it. I use it behind refrigerator, all appliances where we don't come in contact with it to kill roaches and ants, which we don't have a big problem with. I also use it along the walls inside the garage and all around the outside walls of our home. I put it from the home and about 1 foot out and it really helps. Am going to try it now in my laundry, commodes, etc. since I heard how well it works.
