It will have an insane voltage drop if you go with less for over a run of 8 feet or so. Re-engineer your design. **Q: I have 2 Strings of 3x280w 40voc panels in series. Can I parallel the two strings using these branch connectors?** A: The connectors will work. Just be sure the input voltage and amperage is right for you application.
