Looked at the exploded view of the sprayer, and determined that the original valve had pretty much disintegrated (no clue how as I have only used water based paints). Took about twenty minutes to replace as I had to take the hopper off the unit to allow me to install the valve. All back together, and the sprayer works like new again! I bought an extra kit just in case this one disintegrates in the next few years. A few people's reviews said that the valve broke after a few minutes of use. I guess I find that hard to believe as it appears to be an OEM part from Wagner. My original one lasted at least five years, and I am looking forward to this one lasting at least that long, since I now know it is the weak point of the system. Just in case, I now have a backup kit, if I'm half way through a paint job, and it breaks/disintegrates, I know I can be back on the job in less than a half hour. I presume, at one point, they had a change in production and to make it easier they include the extra o ring in all kits. **Q: Will this fit Wagner paint crew 700 model 0515000** A: If it is a model 770, then yes. **Q: Does this come with the inlet valve n spring unit.
