good add-on
i like these straps. my iron gym didn't come with the straps and i forgot to place the call to get mine free. so i ordered these. they work really good. they're strong and hold up great. they allow for more exercises and gives you more strength to complete those exercises then you would if you didn't have this. you would be struggling without it.

solid ab straps
Well these are the ab straps that were advertised for my iron gym pull up bar. Considering how cheap they were price was I was a little worried that they would be poorly made of low quality. I couldn't have been more wrong. These straps are great and you feel very solid in them. They are well made and support my 215 lbs very easily.

extra dynamic during workout
these add additional versatility by enabling good ab and core work while suspended in doorway beneath frame-mounted bar. absolutely comment the product....durable....user-friendly design and width that supports biceps. Only unique element was need to disassemble the frame-mounted bar somewhat to get the straps into place. Well worth the effort to do so.

Garbage.
These straps are a waste of money... don't bother. While the Iron Gym itself is an excellent product I'm almost glad they didn't come with it originally to keep the price down. Before I thought it was fickle not to include them but they're only a good idea in theory; straps are velcro adjusted so its repetitious to attach them and be level with each other. You get a better workout just supporting yourself with your arms and I prefer to prop my legs and hang upside down to work my abs anyways. They're low quality but on par with the price; seem sturdy enough but I've just thrown them in the corner of the closet and never use them.

Ab Straps OK
I received the ab straps and I've used them for a few weeks now. They basically do what you would expect - slide them over the handles on the Iron Gym and you can then use them to suspend yourself in the air for various ab exercises.I like using them better than just dangling from the Iron Gym and trying to do ab exercises. However, not much better. I'm 5'6", so it's a bit tricky for me to get my arms in these things while the Iron Gym is on a standard door frame as they hang higher than my arms are at. Additionally, I have found that they kind of dig into my arms. It's nothing serious, but it's not comfortable, either.I would recommend them as something that you can use to change up your workout, but I find I can do more good ab exercises with a Weider Stability Ball (between $10 - $20, dependent on size). I see this as something to change the monotony, not as something you'd want to use 3 or more times a week.

Good buy
Definitely a good purchase and your abs will thank you. It took me a while to figure how to use it, since I'm short and I need a chair to do the abs on the pull up bar. But I figured it out and I recommend it to anyone.

great, but note the added costs for ab straps
you have to buy the straps seperately. They will "give" you a set for shipping and handling that costs about $8.00...same price it would cost to buy them from amazon seperately? Amazon will ship right away, takes 8 weeks to get your "free" set. The bar itself is a dandy. Feels sturdy, and safe up to about 220 pounds or so.

Ab Staps
Didn't like the advertising for the Iron Gym that gave the impression that the Ab Straps were either included or could be gotten for free just pay the shipping. There was no info on or in the box when I got the Iron Gym that said how to go about getting their Ab Straps. I felt I was betrayed by the Iron Gym advertisement so beware. Now I had to go to google and find the Iron Gym Ab Straps and pay for them separately as well as shipping. They work ok but are cheaply made and I don't expect them to last very long. I would avoid Iron Gym products even if you had to pay a few extra dollars.
