So far so good. I have the good girl and good boy ...
So far so good. I have the good girl and good boy collars for crazy barking dogs. They barked at everything even when there was nothing to bark at. No matter what kind of training I did with them they wouldn't listen. The collars are working nicely. It is much quieter in the house, so much so that it's Erie haha They will go a little nuts sometimes with the mail man, but they quiet down more quickly than before. They've only been wearing them for about a week and a half. I like that fact that they first make noise and then vibrate without me having to use a remote. I didn't want a collar that shocked them, so this was perfect. The only thing is that my little one likes to bark and play with the other one and he barks really loud, his collar will make a noise and so will the other One's collar even though she's not barking. It doesn't go off if she growls or does breathy not full on barks. I have the sensitivity on high too. Also, I have a 5lbs poodle and a 12 lbs yorkie poodle and they fit perfect. That was another thing I was having issues with, finding collars small enough and safe for my little poodle. I'm trying to post a picture of them, but it won't let me. Good luck!

didn't last
The collar worked fine and now all of a sudden it doesn't work. I put a new battery in and all it does is buzz and doesn't stop unless I remove the battery. The home page for Goodboy says it has a 1 year warranty and to contact them but there is no place to contact them so how do I use the 1 year warranty?? Please let me know how to contact you so I can use the 1 year warranty. Thank youMona

Works but ineffective
Product works as it is supposed to: beeps in sequence and vibrates. Made a little flimsy, my dog keeps getting the cover off. The vibration did not stop her barking at all after 2 days.

Absolutely the best $30 I have ever spent
Works wonderfully! Put it on my dog a little looser than recommended and without a battery for the first day so she could get used to it before snugging it up and adding the battery. When I did add the battery and took her for a walk, she barked (as usual) at the first thing she saw that moved, but was so confused by the noise that she immediately stopped barking and looked around to find where the noise was coming from. Seeing nothing, she noticed the moving objects again (kids on bikes) and barked again. When the noise sounded a second time, she tried to hide behind my legs. She did bark a 3rd time and the vibration activated but that was the last bark out of her until we turned the corner (literally and figuratively)! She gave one more bark at something on the next block, but when the tone sounded, she again tried to hide behind my legs. This was a huge departure from her previous behavior for the past 6 years. Taking her for a walk is now a joy. I don't have to try to time our walks for when I think everyone else will be inside eating dinner. I had company knock on the door and come in without more than a single quiet "woof," followed immediately by a tone and her running to me with her tail between her legs instead of running to the door and barking her head off at family members who have visited multiple times before. The final test - which she passed with flying colors - was when we saw another dog out on a walk. Not a peep out of her. Previous dog encounters generally entailed a complete barking meltdown. My husband and I agree that this is absolutely the best $30 we have ever spent. This was a rescue dog, got her when she was 5, she's 22 lbs, looks like a poodle/bichon mix. She's now 11 and has been bark-free for the past 7 days - when she's wearing the collar. I take it off of her at night and only put it on when I am expecting company or taking her for a walk, so she does still bark when someone comes to the door (UPS, neighbor kids, utility workers, etc). Maybe with time she'll stop that habit, but for now, I'm thrilled that anticipated & expected safe encounters can be experienced quietly. Ahhh.

She Has to Bark up the Neighborhood...
Purchased this for my Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix, who loves to yip and bark at anything and everything in the backyard. Her favorite past time is to go nuts at the neighbor dog through the fence. It's extremely annoying and I'm sure it's not fun for the neighbors either. So, I broke down and set out to buy her a bark collar. I didn't want to resort to using a shock collar if I didn't have to, so I decided to try this one first. She's an anxious shelter dog and I was afraid it would freak her out too much. Thankfully, this less-severe method seems to be doing the trick. We put it on her before she goes outside and take it off when she comes back in. But the most important part: no barking. Not a peep. And no freak outs. It's a win-win situation. The collar fits well, isn't too bulky on my little dog, and serves its purpose perfectly. We'll see how the battery holds up.

Corrects when other dogs bark!
I have 6 dogs but only 1 excessive barker. This collar picks up the other dogs barking all.the.time! I have a high pitched voice and sometimes it even corrects her just because I talk loud. No good! It is correctly placed and adjusted. It goes strictly off sound. I like that it is vibration and not static but this collar did not work for me overall.

Does work. :-(
Used it for my Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix. I've been trying to use this collar for awhile now, and it's not working. I only use it on my dog in the early morning when I let her out while I get ready for work. She does her business, eats her breakfast, and then barks until we let her back in. (She only barks in the mornings, so we haven't had to use it any other time of day when she goes out.) She goes through the whole cycle of beeps and vibrations until it resets and continues to bark like nothing happened. She also somehow popped off the pink "GoodGirl" plastic piece and chewed it all up. Can't return it because she chewed up the plastic and we also had to cut the collar to make it fit her without it dragging or her being able to chew that up as well. Waste of money. :-(

Much less barking
At first, I wasn't sure I had choose the right bark collar for my dog because it says it work better on small one. Mine is about 50 pounds. Finally, it really does the job.The collar comes with two sets of black prons so it ensure to have a good neck contact no matter wich dog hair it is. And its easy to switch from one to another. There is no switch off so when you put the battery it turns on. Plus, an extra cover and extra battery ate included. There is also +/- button so you can adjust device sensibility. Lower sensitivity will need louder stimuli to activate. You can adjust the sensivity also when you have same issue then me. When my other dog bark, it start the collar and give vibration to the wrong dog. What I most like is the louder beep (not to loud but enough) and lights on that allows us to know when a correction is given. This way, it's easier to do training art the same time. The collar fit on my two dogs and really help when it's usual barking. It's soft and effective, give it a try.

Not the greatest, goes off for no reason
I bought 2 of these collars for my dog both from different sellers... at first they seemed to work alright to stop my dog from barking because they didn't know where the buzz sound was coming from..problem is it would go off for no reason , even when it was not on my dog and just sitting on the counter.. I replace the battery and it would still do the same thing.. so the dog is hearing the buzz and feeling the vibration when it is not barking... if it didn't do that it may work , but for my 2 dogs, yorkie poo and a chihuahua mix it is to inconsistent in working... my dogs however seem to like having it put on cuz they dont understand what it is for...lol it is like they think it is a treat im giving them ... I will buy more batteries as these are the ones that came with it , in hopes that those batteries are bad and new ones may work better.. all other reviews seem to say how it works well, but not as of yet for our dogs. However the price is decent enough.

Do not buy this product.
I purchased two collars. The life of the battery is not long at all. It lasted about two weeks and the cost to purchase a new one is $25 or more. Another problem with this collar is my dog continued to bark and the collar was going nuts on her. It did not make her stop at all and any loud noise in the house made the collar vibrate. It's to bad that I could not return it because I would.

Fantastic idea
Bought one collar last week which is great! This one the material on it is not the same, therefore not happy with it. What can you do about it?They’re fantastic for barking so reluctant to send it back as I don’t want to be without it!The difference in the Dogs barking is absolutely fantastic..... I don’t like barky dogs never had them & these are rescues! If you can help with material on collar let me know please. I can’t tighten the collar properly.

Worked wonders
As described. Worked for us. Very gentle vibration that doesn't hurt - we tried it on our hands before putting it on the dog. Give the dog 3 warning beeps before it vibrates, the beeps are enough for the dog not to balk. we used this for 4ish hours a day for a week and we haven't had any uncontrollable barking since taking it off. Please read instructions as you shouldn't leave it on your dog over night. It sometimes can get sensitive if the dog yawns and goes off, not nice for a sleeping doggie!
