It was the ONLY time since I purchased items from any desertcart within the European Union (desertcart.es, desertcart.fr, desertcart.it and desertcart.de) that any item was held at customs. I had to go through the entire bureaucratic customs clearance process and on top of that I had to pay an additional fee of 11.05 euros! Unbelievable! And I have bought in the past items from China, India, Israel, UK and USA without any problem. They get one star because there are no negative stars. Otherwise, they would have 5 negative stars. Terribly bad. Review: THE 12-lead book for learners. - This book is WONDERFUL. Well written, and very much points out that ECG interpretation is an art, and as much as it is science, there is a subjective factor as well. Great at teaching the basics if you're having difficulty understanding the concepts of ECGs, in particular 12-leads. Great for med students, paramedics/EMTs, nurses and many others. I have recommended this book to all those I've been mentor or preceptor to in the past, and I will continue to do so. I've read Dubin's, and this is the next step up. If you really want to get a good grasp of EKGs, you should take the time and sit down and read through this text. Has different levels for each EKG interpretation so you can read through multiple times and take away more from each EKG every time. Can honestly say I've learned more from this book than any other EKG book/teaching module. Takes a bit longer than some of the other books but it is WORTH IT! I can now do a quick interpretation of most EKGs I encounter (which includes calculating the exact axis and z-axis) in under 30 seconds!
