Dayton Audio's AMT Mini-8 Air Motion Transformer tweeter adds clarity, transient speed, and musical finesse to almost any loudspeaker design. The AMT Mini-8's compact housing is easy to mount anywhere, and groundbreaking AMT technology enables high output from this tiny driver.

Review: Mini means MINI-- This tweeter is tiny - I ordered these because I wanted to upgrade from a set of piezo tweeters. I figured with the included extra faceplate, they'd easily fit right into the hole. WRONG! These little guys are tiny tiny. So tiny in fact when I picked up the box they came in, I thought, "Oh No, they only sent one" But they did send 2. And thankfully they do come with an additional extended faceplate, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to mount them into the existing holes without some major revamping. As it was, I had to dismantle the piezo tweeters and gut the innards so I could mount these tiny little guys into the piezo housing. With a little bit of drilling and some patch work, I was able to get them mounted. Boy do they sound great. So crisp and clear. Alot more detail than the piezos they replaced. I highly recommend these tweeters. I'm using these with a crossover at 5khz. My midrange has an L-pad so I can balance the mids to the highs. The output of these is slightly lower than average, 88db @ 1watt, so be aware of that. I'm so happy with these little guys. They're stellar.

I ordered these because I wanted to upgrade from a set of piezo tweeters. I figured with the included extra faceplate, they'd easily fit right into the hole. WRONG! These little guys are tiny tiny. ### ⭐ Nice product but only half arrived

The product was very nice but the description said there would be a pair of tweeters and only one arrived. I was told that the accounting system wouldn’t allow the vendor to send two and I was offered 25% off if I bought the second. Instead I returned it and am still waiting to be reimbursed. Probably not the best service. This is the second time I’m writing a review of this transaction as Amazon wouldn’t allow the first even though it dealt only in the facts and was not abusive in any way.
