If I step in a puddle will it soak up water like a sponge?** A: I've stepped in water no problem. Tops are water resistant. Nice and warm. **Q: my mens size is 8.5. 8 will be very small? I think they will stretch out more. What do you think?** A: These will not stretch. You should size up to a size 9 if you’re regularly an 8.5. **Q: Can I wear these to a football game?** A: Absolutely… the tread is excellent for indoor and outdoor. The fit, comfort and the “north face” insulation will have you stylin and profiling while warm and comfy….. Game on.. Enjoy and impress. **Q: Do these compress relatively flat?** A: I don’t know how much they compress because I have not traveled with them. I do know they are light weight, warm and comfortable. I’m sure they will compress but I don’t know what impact it would have on their shape long term. Hope this helps. ## Frequently Bought Together - THE NORTH FACE Men's ThermoBall Traction Winter Bootie - THE NORTH FACE Women's Thermoball Insulated Traction Mule V Shoe - THE NORTH FACE womens Thermoball Traction Bootie --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/389463097-the-north-face-mens-thermoball-traction-snow-boots](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/389463097-the-north-face-mens-thermoball-traction-snow-boots) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
