RemingtonX4 Power-X Hair Clippers - Cordless with Japanese Steel Blades and Precision Control Dial; Cuts from 0.5mm to 35mm HC4000

Hair was getting long, don't know how to order a haircut, wife was absent so I decided to get this really nice hair clipper. Delivered promptly to the locker. Here's a short overview:Pros:- Easy to hold and operate. Quiet by my standards which are quite high from a quiet PC enthusiast- Fantastic adjustment with a wheel- Fades cleanly and professionally- Excellent cutting performance. Fast, if the hair is not too long- Comes with a small but instructive manual- Built well, esp. the blades- Comes with a charging adapter Cons:- The indicator light doesn't seem to indicate a full charge. Instead the instructions say charge for 10hrs. However, no issues with battery life.- The stated measurements on the combs appear to differ from the actual achieved hair length. Therefore initially confused about how to properly turn the clipper when cutting.- Somewhat slow to cut long hair of 6 inches with a comb attachment. Comb teeth a bit wide apart and thus slow to harness the hair

They cut well. There’s 3 guards that you can set to cut a handful of different lengths from no 3 upwards, using a dial on the clippers. The guards slot inside the body of the clippers using 2 flat prong type things, but I’ve yet to work out how to remove them without just going through a haphazard wriggling etc. There’s likely a knack I have yet to master. Fine for me as I’m using it on 3 mostly.

Only downside is the lack of a shorter guard to allow you to cut lower than 3mm. Other than that it's very good.

Dislike the extreme difficulty in removing the blades when fully in for a short cut, It really takes some pulling to get them off!The actual cutting is easy to do and uniform.

Very large hard to manoeuvre, the heads are flimsy and hard to clip in and out wish didn't buy
