Gun Safe for Pistol, Quick Access Handgun Safe Firearm Lock Box, Gun Case for Home/Car/Travel

When it comes to getting a gun safe, I had a few requirements that I thought would be difficult to find in a single product without sacrificing one or more for another. I wanted something that was: small, portable, sturdy, secure, quick to access, could store multiple fingerprints, and wasn't too expensive.The Langger V seemed almost too good to be true when I was reading the description. It seemed to hit all of these point to a T. Good thing I took a chance on it, because it's exactly what I was hoping for.Not only is the safe incredibly well built, but they include all the accessories you could need to mount it or secure it with the included safety cable. They even include the screwdriver!I was a bit concerned that this might be complicated to set up with the fingerprint reader, but it was an even quicker and easier setup than the fingerprint reader on my iphone!Very glad to have this in the home for my peace of mind, knowing that our self defense is close at hand, and easily accessible to those who should have access to it, but locked away from small, prying hands. Will definitely be looking into their other products.

I was in the market for a good keypad/biometric safe that I could easily store a firearm, a magazine, and travel with it. This fit the bill very well. As with many safes of this style/construction, if someone steals it, they won't have a bunch of difficulty eventually getting into it. But I believe this safe is low-key enough to fly under the radar of would-be thieves, and more importantly, it keeps it secure out the hands of children.Pros:- Great size, enough for a compact or full size pistol. Fitting two pistols could be done depending on overall size, but I think this safe is best for one.- Fingerprint reader works fairly well and is very easy to program.- Keypad allows 4-6 digits, also very easy to program.- The added security cable adds a bit more deterrence.- They key cylinder is definitely pick-able, but the cylinder is of a design a bit more secure than your run of the mill Masterlock.Cons:- The fingerprint reader works fairly reliably. I strongly suggest tapping different positioning of your finger to ensure it can read it from slightly askew angles.- The internal strap is a great idea, but if it unhooks from the bars holding it on, you're gonna have to take out the foam to fit it back through.- The key entry is very obvious on the front. Some attempt to conceal it with plug would be a great idea.Overall, this was at a very affordable price considering the features. I'm happy with the purchase!

This is the best of 3 similar sized but different manufacturer gun safes in a similar price range. The superior feature on this Lannger safe that ensures reliable opening is the 4-button code # entry since the biometrics don't always work reliably on any of the 3 handgun safes I bought at the same time to test them all out. The code # on key pad has been 100% bombproof and is easy to enter even in pitch black stressful conditions. I suspect temperature of the biometric reader vs skin, or some other variables (greasy vs dry skin?) makes the biometric readers on all 3 tested safes occasionally unreliable. The Langer has been the most reliable for biometric opening, especially when the safe is at the same indoor temperature as when I programmed my fingerprints. Therefore, for a stay at home safe (vs in car in the winter), the biometric opening may be pretty reliable. Given the very wide range of biometric opening handgun safe prices, I think I have found the best deal, and will buy another for indoor deployment.Everything else about the Lannger was great with robust cable, simple directions and the tools provided to easily reprogram biometric fingerprints preferrably at the same temperature you will need to open it. I would not buy a gun safe without a key pad to ensure broad reliability in an emergency.

The fingerprint reader works well and responds quickly. The overall set up for the reader and the combination is easy to do. The safe easily holds my gun, extra extended magazine, and some important papers. You could easily keep two compact guns inside. I turned off the beeping sounds so it is much quieter. Helps when using it and would be important in the middle of the night if needed. I have used one of these safes for about 18 months now and it works great. I just purchased a second safe for my wife.

Received safe on time and very happy with it. Size is just what I wanted. Seems sturdy works as it's supposed to. Was easy to set up code and finger print identification on first try. I recommend this pistol safe to anyone who want's a good safe for a reasonable price.

Safe is easy to set-up and seems very durable. Great for traveling, when valuables need to be left in the car or a hotel room, since it includes a tether that prevents the whole safe from being taken.

Sturdy and well constructed. Easy to set up for instant fingerprint access. With 120 fingerprint storage, both husband and wife can record multiple fingerprints for multiple fingers/thumbs. So far the electronic access has been flawless. We purchased two for bedside access in our primary suite. Each unit easily holds a Glock and extra magazine. It allows one finger access for authorized individuals, while keeping firearms and ammunition away from unauthorized children/family members/guests or casual thieves. I plan to order more for installation in our “safe room”. I also have a Langger biometric gun storage cabinet. I am very impressed with the quality of their products.

Everything is working fine . No issues so far.Like to see couple of holes predrilled in bottom and a USB port added for use as backup if internal batteries fail.

I've just recieved this product and got instantly disappointed. I'm not satisfied with the quality of build because the top lid doesn't even close all the way. That creates the gaps on both sides and you could easily pry open, so I don't feel my firearm is secured in there at all. I will return this item.
