The balm cream works but is more difficult to work into the pierced hole as the body has to heat the product to melt it. Ive found the balm cream has a tendency to stick to the jewelry. The oil seems to penetrate the skin better and quicker and stays moist for longer. kinda funny as both products are suppose to be oil based. For long term wearing of jewelry Ive found the oil product doesnt have residual build up on the jewelry unlike the balm cream. Dont get me wrong. The balm cream is a great product but I find for my purpose the oil works perfectly and the benefits outweigh the balm cream. A little goes a long way with both products. As far as the item description goes from the seller. It is pretty much spot on and if you are pierced and you are stretching ur pierced skin then I definitely recommend this product.
