The tiny applicator makes it great for applying the lube to moveable metal items with tight clearances, like ratcheting wrenches, to also help repel moisture and dirt. Once the tube gets close to half full, the lubricant naturally "sloshes" toward the tip, and resulted in wasting a few precious drops, since it comes out much more liberally (relatively speaking) than when it is closer to full. So, naturally, one just adjusts the approach a bit to allow for that. For $4.99 and an add-on I am glad that I decided to try this handy device out.
