311: Transistor Vinyl 2LP

I just started building my vinyl collection and it was a difficult decision which 311 album to get first, but I certainly did not make a mistake with this one! From what I can tell, it’s a 2017 rerelease and the audio was remastered specifically for the vinyl version. The audio fidelity is top notch, physical vinyl quality is flawless, and the anti scratch bags that come with the packaging are better than I have received with any other album. This release includes a new intro track that wasn’t included with the original album and also the hidden track at the end, but due to storage limitations of vinyl, you don’t have to wait as long to hear it. They fit 22 songs (23 if you include the hidden track) on two records and every single one of them rocks 311 stylee! Very satisfied with this purchase and still love this album and band all these years later.

This is 311's masterpiece! I remember when this first came out, the only song I really cared for was Beautiful Disaster. I was 13 at the time, and at that point I was obsessed with Music, Grassroots and the blue album. I just wasn’t into this “different” sounding 311 album at that point. Flash-forward a few years later, and after sampling a bit of that sticky icky, I popped in this CD and it was like listening to this album for the very first time. Hard/mellow/experimental/brilliant. I jumped at the chance to purchase the remastered vinyl, as this is my favorite 311 album. I literally love every song on this album, but a couple of my favorites include, Jupiter, Starshines, and Stealing Happy Hours.

Of course Love the music as 311 is my favorite band, which makes it all the more dissapointing that I THOUGHT this album arrived with too big a hole diameter seemingly causing random skips during play back. "Only listened to it a hand full of times, but has been like this since arrived new over 1 year ago. Would be appreciated if seller would still make this good." CORRECTION TO MYSELF - This album was fine, it was my cheap Crosley record player that was the issue. Upgraded to a Fluance record player, and everything changed. Balance restored in the universe!!! Rock on 311Family!

This vinyl plays great! Make sure you have a decent turntable with an adjustable counterweight. I originally thought this vinyl was skipping due to damage but turns out one of my record players would occasionally bump the needle off on this particular record on specific songs.

Absolutely the best sounding vinyl in my small collection of my favorite albums. The product arrived in perfect shape. I am beyond pleased with my purchase and delivery! If you’re a 311 fan, this is a must have...period.

One of my favorite bands ever. I love this CD cus its edited without cuss words (not a lot anyway) so my kids sing and know all the lyrics to these songs. It was in great condition too!

This is a solid record from start to finish. When it came out, long ago, I didnt think it. As time went on, I found myself listening more and more and getting more and more. Its best listened to from start to finish.
