Cyberlink PowerDirector 15 Ultimate Suite

Good software, I do like it, not easy, but what is.

If you want a video editing software that has all the bells and whistles this would be it i got the ultimate suite and on their director page you can download other created templates and transitions and lots of cool stuff , i have watched many tutorial videos and what ever you want you can do it with a bit of practice and bonding with it , i use it on 2 different youtube pages and its tha coolest imo

I've just been having so many problems with this. I don't know if I just got a messed up one or what but I'm so sad about it. Been giving it chances but I'm just finally fed up with it. It works when it wants too but other than that it's super glitchy, freezes up on me all the time and now its just shutting down in the middle of editing. Someone help.

I upgraded to PD15 from PD13, and I really wish I had not. PowerDirector 13 worked great for me -- I never had a single problem with it. One of the main features I use is the MultiCam Designer plugin that allows you to edit/switch between multiple camera sources. This worked GREAT in PD13. In PD15 the audio and video from all sources is completely out of sync, which makes it impossible to accurately switch between the sources because you don't know if you should be following the video or the audio for your cues. Also, PD15 crashes at least a dozen times on every project I attempt, and that doesn't include dozens of times I get the Windows notification that "PowerDirector 15 has stopped responding...".It's simply not the same application, and unfortunately I don't mean that it's better because it's not. I upgraded to PD15 because several of my cameras are 4K now, but just like the industry as a whole isn't really ready to support 4K, Cyberlink clearly isn't ready either. I guess I'll just continue using PD13 as long as I can. Eventually I will need to figure out a 4K solution, but PD15 simply isn't it.

Got this for my son after he wanted to sigh up for an Adobe subscription. This is WAY better value. Better software. No recurring fees!

First bad experience: bought PD from online 3rd party as upload. When my laptop died and I needed new upload, 3rd party business was out of business and Cyberlink refused to provide upload.Second bad experience: bought a new Dell laptop 2 months ago. Comes with PowerDirector pre-installed. But it only works maybe 30% of the time, at most. Otherwise has intense static, audio/vidio non-synched, transitions lag and are also choppy, etc, etc.When I go to Cyberlink links online to get customer service, none of them work either. SERIOUSLY??? This company is a joke.
