I love these! Heres my test picture for them. The colors are beautiful and vibrant! The black was a little difficult to work with, but i think that was my own fault.

Great Student Grade Paints
I purchased these locally, but saw there was no written review... I bought these as an upgrade from store brand beginner paints. I am new to watercolor, but am an experienced pencil artist.There is no lightfastness rating, but all the colors are individually labeled and consistent with those you'd find in professional tier sets.I used the paints both straight from the tube and after reconstituting from a palette. In both cases, the pigments were vibrant, easy to control, blended well, and dried without chalky residue often found in store brand beginners paint sets. If you plan to primarily use them dried, I'd fill pans as opposed to the folding travel palettes. There was some crumbling after wetting.For a beginner, or those on a budget, these are fine quality for journaling, urban sketching, scrapbooking etc.

Great quality and pigment for the price!
I had some very cheap watercolors from Michael's before I found these by chance. They have lots of pigment and blend beautifully. Attached is the color chart I made on 300g cold pressed watercolor paper. The darker area is straight from the tube and then spread with a waterbrush. You need very little paint. They are easily reactivated after they dry. Love them! Great quality for the price compared to same priced competitors!
