Easy to hold in your hand. I like that this product links to and uploads to a smart phone (iPhone 13 Pro Max) to transmit data. If you are doing layouts on drawings I would recommend it. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Does Not Work as Intended *by @***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2022* The media could not be loaded.  Purchased: Apr 11, 2022Processed for Return: May 1, 2022Reviewed: May 1, 2022I'm a freelance drafter and my drafting work requires on site measurements of existing buildings. That said, I had very high hopes for this device. But it's simply too much to ask for for this price tag I guess. So many things do not work it's very unfortunate.Pros:1. Design was elegant and felt good in the hand. Felt sturdy.Cons:1. Basic swipe feature on the touch screen does not work 9 out of ten times or so (see attached video)2. The 'Spirit Level' does not work accurately and there was no option to calibrate (see video)3. Device has to be ABSOLUTELY level in x and y planes. When your able to get to the '2-d Floor Plan' scanning mode (good luck with that) the walls it draws out is trapezoidal in shape and mostly do not close the room if the device is not ABSOLUTELY level, image attached.4. You have to make sure that it is ABSOLUTELY level for every room you measure and take 4 measurements of each corner. If you have 20 rooms to measure, its quicker to take 2 quick measurements of each room using a traditional laser measuring device, jot down your notes and move on to the next room.5. The room has to be empty (as in no furniture higher than 4 ft) otherwise the device has no clear line of site to the room's corners. You could raise the device above tall furniture using a 7' tall tripod, but now you are under the device and you'll need a ladder to look at the device from up high so you can tap the screen. Tapping the screen (by feel) from below without a ladder does not work.6. It can export to a DXF file, but that dxf file is not useable. Scale factor is completely off. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars DOA and now unavailable *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2022* I was really looking forward to this and when it arrived it was inoperable. I contacted customer support at HOZO and they confirmed that it seems like the units battery is defective. They said to return it to Amazon. I got Amazon credit for it and of course now it is unavailable for me to reorder from Amazon.
