Lead sheets are also a great option for building acoustic control systems because they are an extremely effective and efficient barrier when used alone or fastened to the wall. So it wouldn’t get the outer wall of the can anywhere near close to background with this alone in Scotland or parts of Canada. Anywho, tin snips, pliers, and a rubber mallet are all I needed to cut and shape it as needed. I did try to solder the seams closed, but found that just made a lot of smoke and slag. So opted to just overlap, or fold joints. Most samples fit in the 1 QT sized cans that are lined. The rest in the 1 GAL cans. And a few really hot rocks are in both.
