I had originally gotten a quote of hundreds to get the screen of my phone camera replaced when it broke. This kit however is such a good value. There were clear instructions for how to use it and remove all the broken pieces of my camera. Very easy to then glue on the new screen and it fit perfectly! It’s been a few months and I’m impressed how well it’s holding up. Review: iPhone 12 Pro Telephoto Lens was the target. I used a pro-tip from another desertcart reviewer to use a soldering iron to heat the glass fragments - worked like a charm (thank you) and the glass just lifted out easily, the residual adhesive was easy to scrape off with an xacto blade. I did not use any solvent or alcohol wipes, but inspected the demo thoroughly with a 20x magnifier. Once i was satisfied i had scraped all the original adhesive off, i put this glass disc back in, it clicked in place and was flat and level. Although i was careful, one tiny speck of duct did get trapped but has no impact on image quality. The supplied tools were of excellent quality, the glass itself appeared to be top quality. How well it holds and how water-proof it will be remains to be seen. I have ordered electronics-silicone to put a very small fillet of adhesive at the outside edge.
