GNC Herbal Plus Guarana 250mg | Vegetarian Standardized Extract | 100 Capsules

I have stomach problems so can no longer drink coffee or tea. Was using caffeine capsules, opened and powder dissolved under the tongue. Convenient, inexpensive, and though not the full experience of coffee chemicals, necessary for alertness and energy. Of course there's also the 'down.' Do find that the guarana (using contents of 2 caps, about 180mg of caffeine which I've read is like a 12oz coffee) has a gentler energy decline. Also comes on a little softer, so sometimes when I need a quick somewhat stronger spike, still do a caffeine capsule, but find the guarana smoother most of the time. After first writing this review I tried a separate guarana powder so I could add caffeine capsules in different amounts and seemed less expensive. It worked - but - I had to use more of the guarana powder than in the pills to get the same effect and the convenience of these pills (including easy to carry a few for later in the day) brought me back to this product.

Love this product, gave up morning coffee and this product wakes you up for the day! It has helped me with my fatigue due to my cancer treatments. My doctor told me about it, he said he went to a conference and it was discussed that this supplement had helped cancer patients with fatigue.

These work great ... I usually take 4 to get the best "energy high" ... the energy is nice and clean and last just long enough for me to get a good workout in and best of all no crash! Highly recommended if you are looking for good clean energy without the jitters or the crazy or the stimulants! Will buy again and again!

Better than The smell is not so great and size of the capsules are a little large but they really do work and they are a much better alternative to buying expensive energy drinks every day!

Stand by this product and recommend in place of daily coffee. I started this because my teeth would get stained yellow by coffee, and my gums were so sensitive I couldn't use whitening or bleaching products. So, swapped this in for coffee and never looked back! It's so great when you're traveling and it save time every morning (no dishes). I still love the taste of coffee and have my occasional cup, but for a morning caffeine fix, this is the way to go. My friends say I'm an addict, but it's actually slightly less caffeine than your average cup of coffee and doesn't seem to upset my stomach as much either.

I bought this to replace my daily coffee since it was starting to irritate my sensitive stomach. This has really helped a lot. It gives me a nice little boost of energy and alertness without getting jittery. But best of all it doesn’t hurt my stomach whatsoever. The energy boost only lasts for about 2-3 hours, but even after it fades I still feel better than I did before. I recommend for anyone looking to replace their coffee habit.

The product itself is OK. However, the manufacturer, GNC, not random sellers, sent me this that will expire within a few days. It is not acceptable. I wish Amazon carries and handles it better in the middle. Expired products may not cause a severe problem but at least the effect of the product is decreased. For me, the expiring one caused me a headache.Update: It is now Jan. 2023 and I ordered a few more times from both Amazon and GNC directly. They are still shipping expired ones and asking me to send photos for a refund which is a hassle. Do NOT send the expired ones back to them because it seems that they may be reselling.
