Dopo un po' di ricerche ho trovato un manuale dove sono presenti le istruzioni e i qrcode da scansionare per poter configurare il lettore secondo le proprie esigenze. A dire il vero, alcuni qrcode mancavano, per esempio quello per configurare la lettura in modo manuale alla pressione del tasto. Ho dovuto cercare il codice corrispondente (che si trova verso la fine della documentazione) al comando e farmi generare il corrispettivo qrcode da scansionare tramite un generatore online. Inoltre la documentazione non riporta che se il modulo viene resettato alle impostazioni di fabbrica, non manda più nulla in output (o quantomeno potrebbe farlo, a me è capitato che lo abbia fatto). Per far riprendere a mandare in output i valori dei codici letti su seriale o su emulazione tastiera in usb, si devono scansionare in ordine una serie di codici, corrisponenti ai comandi ~M00910001. ~M00510000. ~MA5F0506A. ~M00910000. Anche questi qrcode possono essere generati tramite un generatore online. Il fatto è che ho trovato per caso questa informazione su un altro sito che commercializzava il prodotto, dopo una intera giornata a sbattere la testa sui codici in C per arduino (che erano corretti) che non funzionavano proprio per questo problema che il modulo ha smesso di trasmettere ciò che leggeva. Eseguita questa configurazione, comunque, ha ripreso a funzionare correttamente. Do tre stelle proprio per la mancanza di un supporto documentale adeguato, per il resto il prodotto funziona e fa il suo lavoro in maniera più che dignitosa.
