Simple, easy to use and install.

Great product, the hot and ground were on the proper side for my trickle charger. Super easy to install and blends in well with my polaris ranger.

The bulkhead connector piece seems well made and connects easily. Installation is not hard, but requires selecting an optimum location and then drilling the pass through hole plus either drilling lock down screw holes or fixing in place with adhesives. Nothing too hard but definitely work. The item works very well for its intended purchase and I would buy it again for similar needs. In this case it is a better and safer outlet to tie my garden tractor battery to the trickle charger.

The product is functional however it Does not enjoy staying seated in its plug when mounted on Round/curved surfaces/objects. I assume if the product was installed on a flat surface maybe I would have different results, but it’s use for me was for a slightly curved surface. Due to its pliable material it does flex just enough when screwed into the curved surface to make the plug cap difficult to seat and sometimes unseated. This product seems to be constructed from quality materials and hence the four star rating.

Finally! a SAE power socket that is made correctly. See my pictures for how I am using them. I have used the Tecmate and Zamp SAE sockets and both have too thin 16 AWG wire. This one has 12 AWG wire and is fine stranded, pure copper. Thicker is better. I didn't use the attached hardware. I drilled the holes 1/4" and used 10-24 screws for my ammo can solar generator boxes. The cover for the SAE connector is strong. My Battery Tender Jr SAE end fits perfectly in the socket. So...thanks BATTERYMINDER for making a great product! $15 is a decent price-point...but, you need to add in the advertisement that it has 12 AWG wire.

Fantastic product design. This was a little more than other options but I chose this one because of the thicker gauge wire. The only reason why I'm only giving it 4 stars is because the dust cover was not formed correctly and did not fit in the connector. I shaved some of the rubber off with a knife and then it worked perfectly. Not sure if it was just the one I bought but I would still buy this product.

I like it. I use it as an output port on my two portable solar charge controllers. I purchased two. I have a variety of adapters that have SAE plugs and so this was a great find. Had to notch it to fit the case. Glad that it was at least 12AWG wire. The other end of mine wasn't needed and I cut it off..........and will use it with a different project.
