I also have a lot of 2 1/4 (two and a quarter inch) square mounted slides, but they're too big for this scanner. I experimented for you, by removing a slide from the mount, and yes, it will fit into the slot on the scanner, so you might be able to scan 120/220 negatives, but there's not a film holder/adapter for that size. You'll have to slide the film into the slot of the scanner, but due to the larger size of the negative, you might not get the entire picture into the scanning area. I hope this helps. :) **Q: What is the warranty period for this item?** A: One year parts and labor for the FS71 Magnsonic. **Q: What is the internal memory of the magnasonic fs71 35mm film scanner? some product descriptions say 128mb, but a customer service rep said 64mb.** A: My instruction book says the scanner has 128MB of built memory available to store about 50 scanned images. The scanner will also accept SD, SDHC and SDXC cards with a max of 128GB. I have not found a way to tell how much memory is in the scanner. I have scanned over 1400 slides so far and it is great. The scanner has a counter that counts the number of scans but I wish there was a way to reset it. The Model FS51 has 64mB of internal memory per the specifications, Maybe the rep was looking at this one. Hope this helps. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ absolute hit! *by on Reviewed in the United States 27 April 2025* I bought this Magnasonic All-in-One 24MP Film Scanner as a gift, and it was an absolute hit!The person I gifted it to has a large collection of old negatives and slides, and they were thrilled to finally have an easy way to digitize their precious memories. The scanner is extremely easy to use, even for someone who isn't very tech-savvy. The 5" LCD screen is bright and clear, making it simple to preview images before saving. This scanner made a perfect and thoughtful gift, and seeing how happy it made them truly made my day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a practical, meaningful present! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Price *by on Reviewed in Canada 9 March 2024* love it. I had old negatives about 30 to 50 year old and it works great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Little Machine *by on Reviewed in the United States 3 March 2022* I successfully transferred literally many hundreds of 135 & 110 slides some of which were over 50 years old, and the little machine did a commendable job. Not to detract from what it accomplished, just a couple of things bear mention.-- I needed to increase the brightness level to its max of 2 to keep most of the slides from transferring too dark and still needed to make some corrections electronically to brighten many of them after transfer. But the slides were very old, lived in hot/cold attics for all of that time and probably weren't brilliantly taken in the first place. The good news is that the resolution was still good enough to restore.-- Some (actually most) of my 110 slides were mounted in 2 piece plastic holders that were too thick to push through the carrier. I ended up having to manually push-pull them into position which wasn't hard to do but rather cumbersome relative to the efficiency of simply sliding them in position one after the other. More time consuming but not intolerable.-- The slides that were originally taken in a vertical orientation needed to be put through horizontally and then rotated when downloaded. Not a particular problem but something to keep in mind to avoid cutting off a bunch of those pix.Overall a good little machine that did the job that I would recommend to anyone interested in permanently saving old memories. It is nice to not have to drag out those unwieldly old projectors/screens for the family to enjoy clips of the old days. ## Frequently Bought Together - Magnasonic All-in-One 24MP Film Scanner with Large 5" Display & HDMI, Converts 35mm/126/110/Super 8 Film & 135/126/110 Slides into Digital Photos, Built-in Memory with Bonus 32GB SD Card (FS71) - Magnasonic Long Tray Slide Film Holder for 35mm Compatible Film Scanners, Holds 4 Slides to Speed up Processing Time, Easy to Use, Gently Flattens and Protects Film Edges - Set of 3 (ST01) - SanDisk 128GB Ultra SDXC UHS-I Memory Card - 120MB/s, C10, U1, Full HD, SD Card - SDSDUN4-128G-GN6IN [Older Version] --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/406811154-magnasonic-all-in-one-24mp-film-scanner-with-large-5](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/406811154-magnasonic-all-in-one-24mp-film-scanner-with-large-5) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
