The sleeve looks very nice. The shape is somewhat like a teardrop, which fits nicely in the hand for holding. The material is a comfortable silicone-like material that is true to the Apple Pencil color, feels good to the hand, very smooth, and providing a slight cushioning to the grip. The magnetic attraction between the iPad and the grip is sufficient to hold fast under use around the Home or Office. It is possible that the Pencil could be dislodged with a passing blow, and so I would not use it as a primary means by which to store the pencil when out and about. This Pencil sleeve is best seen as a Pencil grip, with a means of laying down the Pencil such that it doesn’t roll away, or for light transport about the Home or Office, where, if it becomes dislodged, you have a somewhat reasonable chance at finding it. The sleeve is something you will be comfortable with leaving on the Pencil, even if you are storing the Pencil by a different means, for transport. An overall good choice and excellent value. Just don’t assume you can trust it to secure the Pencil to the tablet under all conditions. Review: Great apple pencil accessory in terms of convenience and feel - Really like the grip that this sleeve gives the apple pencil. The feeling is like that of a Pentel's Twist Erase mechanical pencil which is my favorite pencil. Smooth yet grippy. The magnetic strip prevents the pencil from rolling and provides just enough of an edge/bump that makes holding the pencil in any position very comfortable. Magnets are very strong and I have no problem leaving my pencil on my ipad screen when I'm using it (mostly towards the long edges), but it also works very well with Apple's smart keyboard cover because I can just leave my apple pencil stuck on the outside when I don't want to slide it into the elastic sleeve on the back of my case. When I leave it stuck on my case magnetically it can survive quite the shake and not fall off. I probably wouldn't count on always leaving it attached to the case and not losing it, but as a grad student it works well for constant use and carrying my ipad around in my backpack. ## Features - 6 magnets embedded into the silicone sleeve side. The magnets allow you to attach the Apple Pencil quickly to the front side of the iPad Pro, the front sides of a magnetic smart cover, or pretty much any magnet-friendly metal surface - The pencil sleeve comes with two extra self adhering metal strip, that you can stick to any surface to quickly store your Apple Pencil wherever you want - The soft silicone grip hugs your pencil tightly to prevent relative sliding, you have a larger area to grip onto which helps keep your fingers from locking and protects your fingers - Easy to install, you can adjust the placement of the thin sleeve on the pencil to suit your preference - 5 colors to choose from: Midnight Blue, Ivory White, Lavender, Red, Ice Sea Blue (Apple Pencil Not Included) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06XJ26RBR | | Best Sellers Rank | #159,176 in Cell Phones & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Cell Phones & Accessories ) #3,025 in Styluses | | Brand | FRTMA | | Color | Ivory White | | Compatible Devices | apple-ipad-pro | | Compatible Tablet Computer Models | Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch, Apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 3,982 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Silicone, Metal | | Item Diameter | 0.42 inches | | Item Dimensions | 3.15 x 0.47 x 0.42 inches | | Item Weight | 7.08 g | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 3.15 x 0.47 x 0.42 inches | | Manufacturer | FRTMA | | Material | Silicone, Metal | | Mfr Part Number | FRT008-2 | | Model Number | FRT008-2 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | UPC | 767278544758 767278545540 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** FRTMA - **Color:** Ivory White - **Compatible Devices:** apple-ipad-pro - **Item Diameter:** 0.42 inches - **Item Weight:** 7.08 g - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 3.15 x 0.47 x 0.42 inches - **Material:** Silicone, Metal - **Number of Packs:** 1 - **UPC:** 767278544758 767278545540 - **Unit Count:** 1 Count ## Images ![Compatible with Apple Pencil Magnetic Sleeve, Soft Silicone Holder Grip Compatible with Apple iPad Pro Pencil, Ivory White (Apple Pencil Not Included) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/418PqQ8YSmL.jpg) ![Compatible with Apple Pencil Magnetic Sleeve, Soft Silicone Holder Grip Compatible with Apple iPad Pro Pencil, Ivory White (Apple Pencil Not Included) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51q9uobVtBL.jpg) ![Compatible with Apple Pencil Magnetic Sleeve, Soft Silicone Holder Grip Compatible with Apple iPad Pro Pencil, Ivory White (Apple Pencil Not Included) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61j5fOeUNSL.jpg) ![Compatible with Apple Pencil Magnetic Sleeve, Soft Silicone Holder Grip Compatible with Apple iPad Pro Pencil, Ivory White (Apple Pencil Not Included) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/517yVnMPJlL.jpg) ![Compatible with Apple Pencil Magnetic Sleeve, Soft Silicone Holder Grip Compatible with Apple iPad Pro Pencil, Ivory White (Apple Pencil Not Included) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71jM-BECKXL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How well does the sleeve maintain its fit? I have another similar product, and it has stretched out over time.** A: I have had mine for over a year and love it. It does not slip on the pencil at all. The magnets really grip my iPad Pro well - strong enough that I can carry the iPad around the house with the pencil stuck to it and and no fear of losing the pencil. The sleeve makes the pencil much easier and more comfortable to hold. **Q: Will it stick to the 2018 ipad (regular, not pro)?** A: That's what I have and it works great!! The pics in my review are on a 2018 iPad. (non-pro) **Q: Will there be a black or white version?** A: the Ivory white will coming very soon, please wait for it. **Q: Will it hold on to an Apple Keyboard Cover without having to add the adhesive metal strip?** A: Yes if on the magnet-friendly surface. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great grip, color match, and a strong attraction to hold fast to the iPad... *by G***H on December 19, 2017* The Pencil sleeve arrives well packaged, with all the contents securely stowed, and all the listed parts accounted for. It’s a soft latex/rubber texture. This is an essential for anyone that uses the pencil for writing notes. I was getting pain and cramping from constantly holding the pen for taking notes in clas. My hands were getting sweaty and slippery, and now that doesn’t happen at all with this grip. I really like it and it is worth the money. The grip is a nice shape and fits perfectly in hand. I would recommend to anyone using the Apple Pencil. It comes with two magnets, not the cap holder. The cap holder is from the same brand and was purchased separately. ## Frequently Bought Together - FRTMA Compatible with Apple Pencil Magnetic Sleeve, Soft Silicone Holder Grip Compatible with Apple iPad Pro Pencil, Ivory White (Apple Pencil Not Included) - Apple Pencil (USB-C): Device Compatibility Check Required - Pixel-Perfect Precision, Tilt Sensitivity, Perfect for Note-Taking, Drawing, and Signing Documents.
