Adapters for all of your product needs
We have purchased the Twist storage system including the storage bags, active-latch nipples, bottles, adapters and bottle warmer. We have loved it so much we immediately opted to purchase more of the adapters to ensure we always had a clean set.Our daughter is almost 3-months old, and we will shortly be sending her to daycare. We had been using a standard bottle type with an anti-colic feature to reduce gas. We had also been pumping intro traditional bags. So, we were going to have to thaw the bags, transfer them to bottles, let them get used, and wash all the bottle parts each night. It was a lot to transfer back and forth. Now, with the Kiinde Twist Pouch and bottle system, my wife pumps directly into the bag using the included adapter for our Medela pump. Now we just have to take the bags to daycare, the bottle (bag holder), and the active latch nipples. The bag is heated, slipped into the bottle holder and used. After it is rinsed and recycled. All we have to wash each day are the nipples. We love that the process is much simpler and more sanitary. And since we are not transferring milk, we are wasting (and yes spilling) much less.About the company: my daughter had trouble drinking from their system at first. She would go for 20-30 minutes but only get (at most) half an ounce of milk. I went online, and contacted customer support. By the next day I had an email response with some tips and hints. I made the adjustments and everything worked well. Also, we had been using the slow-flow nipples. The customer service agent offered to send me both he medium flow and fast flow nipples to test with (free of charge). I had them in two days, and now we almost exclusively use the fast flow. I wrote back to let them know it was a success, and they immediately send me some more nipples (fast flow) as a gift for my troubles and feedback.Regarding these adapters specifically, they work great with our Medela pumping system. they do not leak at all. We also used the nipple adapter from our existing brand with the bottle system. it worked, but there was some leaking. We think that was due to the anti-colic feature of the nipples however. All in all, you are better off letting your child get used to the active-ltach system that is designed by Kiinde. So, in summary… a great product and stellar customer service!!

Best brand for feeding products!
This is a genius product! So much easier and convenient since you can adapt it directly to your breast pump and saves you the step of having to transfer the milk. I have used it with the Medela harmony and in style pumps and it works great! When I contacted the company as they didn't seem to fit the Dr. Brown preemie nipples I had been using at the time, they were so helpful in getting me set up with the Kiinde nipples which are great quality. I also love the design of their products. After several months of using a few of their products, I can easily say that I love this brand so far! I also bought their breast milk storage bags from Target since I found a better price there at the time and have to rave about those as well! I am the type of person that has to research high and low before investing in a product and especially for the breast milk bags as I noticed the main issue with a lot of popular brands was that a lot of the bags leaked which I absolutely did not want. Kiinde seemed to be the brand that seemed to be the best reviewed overall for quality and no leak issues and I'm so glad I went with them. I have been using them for several months now and have had no leak issues, and love the screw cap and the quality of the bags. Even our caretakers have commented on how nice they are. On top of their products been great quality, their customer service has been top notch. They have been super helpful and very responsive and actually seem to care about the customers and their products. I can't rave more about this product and company! I would recommend this to everyone.

Don't use with Avent pumps.
I have never written a product review, but I feel I should warn people with Avent pumps about these adapters.I used these adapters with an Avent pump for the first time today. As the milk volume approached 1 oz., I noticed a small leak. I couldn't tell if it was coming from where the adapter connects to the bag or where it connects to the pump parts, but I tightened both locations and kept pumping. I watched very closely for more leaking, and I didn't see anything until I got close to 3 oz. pumped. As I went to check on the leaking, the adapter completely detached from the pump parts, and the adapter, with the bag of milk attached, fell to the ground wasting 2 oz. of milk on the ground. As the mother of a six-week-old baby, and one who had trouble pumping more than 1 oz. per session until yesterday, and who had 2 hours of sleep last night, this was the last thing I needed.I did a lot of research on breast milk storage options. The biggest draw of the Kiinde bags was the ability to pump directly into the bag. I'm not sure I would've gone with this relatively expensive option if I hadn't thought I would be able to do so.

Better in my imagination than in reality
I wanted to love the option to pump directly into storage bags. It sounded so go to pump/store/feed without any transfers. The reality is that I don't store milk in the random amounts that I generate with any given pumping session, so, I was transferring between storage bags anyway. It is also a little tough to measure how much milk is in the bags, especially for smaller amounts. The length of the pump flange, plus the adapter ring (or combination of rings depending on your pump), and the storage bag also takes up a lot of vertical space -- it was harder to sit at my desk or use a laptop pumping directly into the bags than into bottles.I still love the Kiinde pouches for storage & feeding, but pumping directly into the pouches just wasn't great for me. I prefer pumping into bottles with easy to read, accurate measurements and then transferring the volume I want to store/feed into the Kiinde bags.
