Review: The match needs lit off the lighter nine times out of 10. - Amazing lighter, fantastic quality. The Only Fault here lies with the functionality of the match. It is great in theory, however, trying to light something that has what fluid on it is not ideal and does not work that great. I just use the match out at the bar when there's multiple people trying to light smokes and then I use the lighter portion and the match and light the match off the lighter and hand it out. The match is fantastic for lighting can't fires and for any survival situation. It is fantastic as far as quality and functionality and dependability goes. This has replaced my regular lighter as my number 100% use lighter. I've sent this link for this item to multiple friends of mine and all of them feel the same as I do about it. Keep up the great work guys you are making fantastic lighters.

**Q: Listed as a kerocene lighter, does it use so called conventional lighter fluid , like ronson or zippo??**
A: Normally you would use standard Ronson or Zippo lighter fuel rather than kerosene or gasoline. Neither kerosene or gasoline are blended to be as volatile as lighter fluid. Lighter fluid is also quite useful for removing a lot of various labels/adhesives.

**Q: What size wick does this have? For when a replacement wick is needed in the future, what size/kind do I buy?**
A: This lighter comes with the flint and the wick, as a set, so you will know what size of a wick you will need in the future.

**Q: My lighter wick need to replace. I cant find anything in amazon to replace it. Where can I buy it?**
A: It came with extra wicks. But if you haven't already you can pull more wick out with pliers. It's as long as the lighter.

**Q: The rod came out that u strike the match against where can i ger a replacement?**
A: You might try laying 7 or 8 regular flints (e.g. Ronson or Zippo) in the channel and securing them with a dab of super glue or epoxy. An alternative may be welder's flints (used to ignite welding torches) they are bigger in circumference than lighter flints, but it will still take several to fill the channel.

Amazing lighter, fantastic quality. The Only Fault here lies with the functionality of the match. Nice little lift arm lighter. It takes a bit of time to fill as the cotton is packed pretty tightly. I am still working on getting the permanent match to strike reliably but I think my technique is lacking. I did have to scrape the black wax off of the ferro rod but its still hit or mis striking it. Overall I am pleased with the design as the lighter works well and the fuel seems to last. it is also a very good value and was delivered quickly.
