You'll need the castle link in order to connect it to your computer to tune. Data can be recorded to the speed controller and viewed on a graph through castle link. I also have to say this sensored combo is very smooth at low speeds. If you wanted to you could use this system in a crawler and it would still be ballistic when you wanted it to be. So far 0 complaints. It is a snug fit but it does fit without any modifications. It is a smooth running set up with heaps of power.
