When we introduced this vest, we called it a "squish vest," and he was hooked! On the first day he happily wore it for hours, and was upset when we told him he couldn't sleep in it. We have had it for about a month now, and he regularly picks it up, brings it to me, and asks for "my squish on." He's a tall, lean boy, wearing 3T or 4T. The vest wraps all the way around him so the velcro straps on each side *just* meet in the middle. Enough pressure for him now, and plenty of room to grow! And the very sturdy construction seems like it will last a long time. And the velcro patches are the kind that are smooth, not scratchy loops, so that's a bonus. His smile when he wears it says it all. Best purchase ever!

My son (2.5 years) has sensory processing issues, and one of these is needing additional vestibular stimulation. Lots of swinging, spinning, and banging. When he gets visibly overwhelmed by this need, we give him a "big squish" -deep pressure hug- which calms him down instantly. When we introduced this vest, we called it a "squish vest," and he was hooked! On the first day he happily wore it for hours, and was upset when we told him he couldn't sleep in it.
