For a tiny keyring torch this is beyond brighter than the led on your smartphone or standard torch. the brightness is equivalent to a 40w lightbulb. You can change the brightness levels, and it also has an ultraviolet lamp, which is also handy if you ever need a black light. I keep it attached to my keys and Acme Thunderer whistle for safety. If you know you're going to use it for a long period, then just make sure you charge it up beforehand, because after all, it's only small and the battery will get used up fairly quickly. I would recommend anyone to invest in one of these brilliant torches.
