Review: Fits like a glove! - I got this grip within 12 hrs thru desertcart and while it fits perfect and improved the shoot-ability of my Airweight, I'm debating switching back to the stock grips. The reason is the palm swell creates a hot spot on my thigh when I pocket carry. I'm trying to find an alternate method of carrying because i really like these grips! The Hogue grips protects my finger from being banged up by the trigger guard and the palm swells fills my hand better. I followed the instructions to the letter and it made for an easy installation. You must make sure the roll pin is centered on the frame or else you will end up with a gap. A good amount of force is requried to install the grips but not bad at all.

A footnote: the latest 442 factory two-piece grips are held in place with a hex screw, which is not shown in the Hogue instructions...a H3/32 bit fits perfectly. The new grip is quite pliable, so installing it is a breeze. The little "tool" will help. but is not necessary. However, Keep the "tool", as it will be valuable for removing the Hogue grip for internal cleaning later on. It is easy to slip the grip pins into the internal guide grooves and rotate the grip upward. It snaps in place as per the instructions and the grip fits the gun seamlessly and looks terrific. I highly recommend this upgrade to your 442.

**Q: Will this grip interfere with the use of a speed loader HKS 36, on a S&W model 60?**
A: I use these grips on an S&W 640 J frame.  They do not cause any issues with HKS or Safariland speedloaders.

**Q: How do they install? Screw? Do they go over old grip?**
A: After removing the old grips the hogue grips will then slide over the grip frame using the provided installation tool. Once the grips are on the weapon they are held in place by friction and are quite secure without the use of a screw.

**Q: will it fit an older s& w snub nose revolver?**
A: Hello fellow patriot. I put it on a 30 year old S&W 5 shot 38 air weight. I absolutely love it. It fit like a glove. It's black and the pistol is also. Looks great and feels even better. Little difficult to put on. Take your time. I thought at first it was to small, but it's just built to fit tight, and it does. Buy it. You'll love it.

**Q: Wouldnt the rubber cause your shirt to get stuck on it?  Im worried about printing.**
A: The problem with printing often depends on the fabric and fit of the shirt.These tend to get a bit less sticky after more use also my holster allows my mod.36 to ride fairly low inside the waist band.I don't have much a problem with printing but the grip is worth it and feels good in hand.
