## Description

Not all yarns are created equal. Some fray easily while others get all tied up in the tangle while you’re knitting. And there are those that feel way too heavy and rough to the skin! With the success of your knitting project hanging on your choice of yarn, you know this is one thing you can’t leave to chance. You need to be able to choose the best composition, while still taking into consideration its affordability. You will be running through countless skeins, after all. The Skein Tencel Yarn by Yonkey Monkey offers an amazing combination of quality and value.

## Features

- SUPERIOR BLEND - Made of 70% bamboo and 30% cotton, our tencel yarn is a newcomer in the knitting world. The fine quality of its natural fibers has made it an instant hit. It's affordable, too!
- NATURALLY SOFT - Weighing 50g per skein, our worsted yarn is lightweight and soft to the touch. Its cotton fiber is uniquely treated, combed and mercerized in a wide range of colors.
- BABY-SAFE - Guaranteed hypoallergenic, our cotton bamboo yarn is safe to use even for newborn baby clothes. The bamboo fibers provide an extra layer of protection with its anti-UV properties.
- BREATHABLE MATERIAL - The breathable and moisture-absorbent quality of our yarn makes it ideal for socks and summer wear. It’s the perfect alternative for people who are allergic to wool!
- EASY TO WORK WITH - Our yarn does not snag, fray, or split easily while knitting. Each 6-ply skein runs up to 210 meters long and measures 0.047 inch in diameter. It works best with 3-4 US size needles.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is white à bright white or cream/ivory?**
A: bright white

**Q: washing instructions?**
A: I have yet to wash an item made from this but if I did I would either wash by hand in cold OR use my delicates setting on my washer. I have done this with a shirt made of mercerized cotton and it comes out great. Hope that helps.

**Q: Would this be good for a baby blanket?**
A: I made a beautiful baby blanket with this yarn. My granddaughter loves it for her new baby boy. Go for it. I used a double yarn.

**Q: What size crochet needle to use?**
A: It would depend on what you are making and how many stitches per inch. I would suggest 4-6 or D-F. I use two skeins and use a knitting needle size 3.
