I live in a small town and the college campus is huge so this has been my main mode of transportation lately. It’s great for a beginner electric board and for commuting. The remote feels kinda cheap and I dislike that the breaking can be inconsistent and it takes so long to reverse. Neither is a dealbreaker for me though. I have been having a lot of fun with it. For whom it may concern: I would also like to mention that I am a 145 pound woman and the board gives me no troubles at all, but I have noticed with my heavier friends it tends to get stuck easier and move slower.

Love this board and would've given it 4 stars, but now 1 year after purchase it will not take or hold a charge. The board has only been kept indoors and was never exposed to water of any kind. Loved the ride, stability and overall feel. Hate that it will not charge anymore.

Good for beginners. My kids love it fairly easy to use.

This is the perfect electric skateboard for someone who doesn't want to go too fast but wants a safe, good quality, reliable board. It only goes about 10mph but that's plenty of speed if you just want to cruise around or are just learning. There are several speed modes so you can start off very slow and work your way up.The design of the board is very clean, one of the nicer electric skateboards I've seen. There are 3 normal wheels and one rear wheel has the motor in it. I weigh about 195 pounds and the board has no trouble going at the top speed when I'm on flat ground. On inclines it slows down a bit but it still goes and lighter riders won't have as much of an issue with small hills. The battery lasts a long time and is easy to charge with the included adapter.I really like the skateboard bag that comes with this board. It's a backpack and there's a pocket with room for the charger and some tools. The board is short enough that you could ride a bike with it on your back and then ride your skateboard around. Or just throw it in your car and pull it out to ride around in a parking lot or on a sidewalk. It's pretty smooth and I had no problems riding on sidewalks or asphalt. It even does ok over small rocks and gravel.There's a flexible strip that mounts to the back of the board to prevent it from scratching, you don't need to put it on but it does help prevent it from getting scratched up if you lean it up against a wall. It also prevents the board from slipping since it's a rubber material.I really like the combination control board and battery in one unit on the bottom of the board. All wiring is hidden and the entire board top and bottom is very clean looking, looks almost like a regular skateboard except for the bump on the bottom. The remote control is very simple and doesn't have a speed readout but it does have LEDs to let you know what mode you are in and you can easily change your speed setting as well as the brake setting which can be set from very weak to pretty strong. Plenty of braking power for a 10mph skateboard.Even though it's not the fastest electric skateboard you can buy, it's super stable and I feel very safe riding it. I had some experience riding electric boards but a lot of lower cost boards have been disappointing. This is the first board under 300 dollars that I've really liked. I definitely recommend it for beginners or people who don't want to go fast but want a nice looking, reliable electric skateboard. I have no complaints to report, it's been a great experience and I find myself riding it more than my 500w board because I just like how it feels.

The media could not be loaded. This board is absolutely amazing and so much fun! My kids are dying to get on my board! Call me a bad dad, but it ain't happening! This is Daddy's toy! It's very stable; I'm a bigger dude and I felt very comfortable and confident on this skateboard. The 300 watt motor is more than enough to accelerate 220 pounds.It really can go 10 mph, and actually I wouldn't want to go any faster than that. It has four speed modes, which directly correlates to how fast it takes off. The 90mm PU wheels are able to really absorb the bumps, cracks, gravel, rocks, etc more so than smaller wheels. The deck on this is 8 layers of maple, which makes it solid with no bow. The battery is respectable at 4,000 mAh. The manufacturer says that this skateboard is able to go a distance of 9 miles, but I haven't tested that out yet. It can take a 10% grade with no problem, and the antislip deck covers the whole board.The manufacturer gives a 90 day warranty on the Base Camp, which I think is more than generous. The backpack is very well made and has a pocket for all of your tools and accessories that come with this board. The wheels are removable so you can clean them just like any other skateboard, and the fit and finish is top notch. Most likely, I'll probably have to order another one of these for my kids because it is that much fun!

This electric skateboard is AWESOME!!!It came packaged very well and looks amazing. It has 4 speed modes, the highest being 10 mph. It's lightweight making it easy to carry around and pickup for anyone. This skateboard is built tough and well made, you can see how great the quality is by looking at it. It's easy to control and maneuver, rurnign is a breeze. Great for riding to a destination like work or just to have fun. Comes with a remote control that's simple to use and a backpack to carry it when your done riding. It charges fast and stays charged for awhile. It displays the battery life so you know when it needs to be charged again. I was surprised at how quiet it is too. The deck is durable, well made, and wide. The wheels are made of rubber and have a strong grip on the concrete. This skateboard it able to ride smoothly over bumps and rough terrain. It holds quite a bit of weight, my husband rides it and he is 200lbs. He is able to ride is comfortably and go the full speed. It is super fun and easy to ride. My son who is 10 was able to figure out how to ride it quickly even without ever being on a skateboard. My whole family has enjoyed it so much. I would highly recommend this electric skateboard. It's top notch and definitely worth every dollar. Very satisfied!!!
