## Features

- 【Impact and Heat Resistant】: Polymaker 1.75mm ABS 3D printing filament is a durable material that minimizes jamming. With a Vicat Softening Temperature of 104˚C and strong mechanical properties, Polymaker ABS 3D printer filament is perfect for functional parts that need durability and high-temperature resistance.
- 【Enhanced Stability】: Polymaker 1.75mm ABS 3D printing filament (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is crafted from a specialty bulk-polymerized ABS resin, featuring significantly lower volatile content than traditional ABS. For outdoor applications requiring UV resistance, we recommend our UV-resistant ASA filament.
- 【Moisture-Free】: Polymaker 1.75mm ABS 3D printing filament is packaged in a vacuum-sealed resealable bag with desiccant and comes in a sturdy, sealed box for optimal printing performance and protection.
- 【Cardboard Spool】: Available in upgraded 3.0 packaging, featuring a fully recycled cardboard spool and box.
- 【Important Note】: Pass the ABS 3D printing filament through the fixed hole after use to avoid tangling. A heated bed and suitable printing surface are necessary to prevent warping. Larger parts are more susceptible to warping on home printers, and the odor during printing is stronger than with PLA. Using a raft or brim, or slowing down the first layer, can help minimize warping.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What do they mean by "heat resistant"?**
A: product description says it's rated at Vicat Softening Temperature: 104˚C where as PLA normally starts softening at 80˚C.

**Q: What is the dimensional tolerance? +/- 0.02 or -/+ .03 or-/+ 0.05**
A: No idea about the tolerance from manufacturer, but I measured 3 different spools with a micrometer screw gauge and got 1.76mm to 1.8mm.

**Q: Anyone have a qidi x-cf pro or something similar? i cannot get good prints. what settings work for you?**
A: Following The parameter specified on the spool worked for me. ABS runs hot. Bed temp 100°c, nozzle temp 255°c(back it down to 230° finishing temp). Print ABS slow.. around 30mm/s worked best for me. I noticed that I had my wheels too tight on all of my axis(You can if see buildup of rubber dust collecting on the wheels). Loosening them to where you can just barely freely turn them by hand made a world of difference in the quality of my prints.

I'm fairly new to 3d printing. ABS was very tricky compared to PLA. Play around with these settings and hopefully you'll improve the quality of your prints. If you're using Cura as a slicer.. check out "fuzzy skin" setting in the "experimental" settings section. I haven't tried it with ABS but with PLA it makes the appearance of layers disappear. Hope this helped

**Q: Why does the manufacturer on their Twitter endorse the use of their products for making homemade weapons?**
A: Because ABS and ASA are the best filament to use, and polymaker makes great filament for solid prints. Also it's perfectly legal to do so.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use on H2S
*by on Reviewed in the United States July 22, 2026*

I've been very impressed with this Polymaker ABS filament. It prints consistently with excellent layer adhesion, smooth surface finish, and minimal warping when used with the proper settings. The diameter is consistent throughout the spool, which results in reliable extrusion and clean, accurate prints. It's a great choice for functional parts that need strength and durability. If you're looking for a high-quality ABS filament that delivers dependable results, this one is definitely worth buying.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible thermal resistance and zero pigment fading—the toughest neon ABS on the market!
*by on Reviewed in the United States June 4, 2026*

I picked up this 1-kilogram spool of Polymaker PolyLite ABS in Neon Green to run highly visible structural components, electronics enclosures, and automotive interior mounts. Standard ABS is notoriously temperamental to print, and adding bright fluorescent pigments often compromises the structural interlayer strength or causes the plastic to print brittle. Polymaker has completely solved this chemistry puzzle, delivering a screaming-bright neon hue without sacrificing any of the industrial toughness and heat resistance that makes ABS legendary. Why this PolyLite ABS is an exceptional engineering material:Industrial Structural & Thermal Toughness: The mechanical properties of this PolyLite blend are top-tier. Once printed, parts handle impact stress and mechanical friction beautifully. With a high heat deflection temperature, components stand up to extreme conditions (like the dashboard of a car or a closed printer chamber) without warping, sagging, or losing structural integrity.Screaming Bright Neon Saturation: The color calibration on this spool is phenomenal. It features a deeply rich, vibrant fluorescent neon green look under standard workshop lighting, and it does not bleach or fade when pushed through high-temperature hotends. The surface finish hits a perfect semi-matte sweet spot that gives functional parts a highly professional look.Excellent Dimensional Reliability: Measuring multiple points across the 1kg spool with a digital caliper, the 1.75mm diameter stayed highly consistent well within the ±0.03mm tolerance limit. This precision prevents sudden flow fluctuations, yielding exceptionally uniform outer walls with no under-extrusion gaps.Makerspace Setup & Enclosure Calibration Tips:An Enclosure is Mandatory: Keep in mind that this is a true, professional-grade raw ABS formula. It features zero low-warp additives, meaning the material shrink rate as it cools is aggressive. To prevent layers from delaminating or the corners from violently lifting, you must print this inside a fully sealed, pre-heated enclosure away from any drafts. My Settings: I achieved ironclad structural layer bonding running a 255°C nozzle temperature, a 100°C heated bed on a smooth surface, and letting the internal printer chamber warm up to at least 45°C before hitting start. Keep your part cooling fans completely disabled (0%) to ensure pristine interlayer fusion.Bake Before Loading: ABS is highly hygroscopic. Even though Polymaker's packaging is excellent, baking the spool at 75°C for 6 to 8 hours in a dedicated dryer before printing will completely eliminate surface bubbling, fuzzing, and popping at the nozzle. The final takeaway: Polymaker has engineered a premier, high-durability engineering plastic that bridges the gap between raw mechanical utility and vibrant aesthetic flair. It handles continuous high acceleration pressures cleanly, offers immaculate dimensional consistency, and delivers an unbeatable tactical color profile. It is a fantastic value purchase for any high-performance workshop rotation.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice parts the first time
*by on Reviewed in the United States February 22, 2024*

I got this for two projects where I needed some extra strength. My first small test prints were nearly perfect, without the stringing of PETG or PLA, but I still had some lessons to learn. This ABS has much less adhesion to the print bed than the PLA and PETG I used before. This caused my first larger object to lift at one end, hitting the print head and creating an unacceptable "washboard" effect. The fix wasn't hard. I used the stick adhesive which came with my printer (other people use hairspray). That was enough to keep things stable.Note also that the ideal temperature for ABS is higher. I'm using 90 C for the bed and 255 C for the print head, but testing for your application is always a good idea. The first photo shows my real reason for buying ABS. It is a handlebar to add more comfortable hand positions on an indoor trainer. It clamps to the bike's original bar at two points, using steel bolts through the ABS shapes. Hex insets for the nuts worked nicely. This is the center part of the bar, to which I added "cowhorns" printed separately. I made D.I.Y white ABS cement from a recipe online and it worked great. I would not consider it responsible to ride a home-printed ABS bar on a road or trail, but for a trainer it seems more than strong enough. I should spray it with a UV-resistant coating since it does see some sun exposure through a window. If you look carefully you can see that one of the tall thin supports failed, but you can blame me or the Cura slicing software for that. Probably no material would have built that correctly. There was no harm to the final object. The other photo shows one of the test objects you can find online. It was printed with no supports and the "bridges" came out nicely with no stringing. I have not cleaned up this print. You can see that the underside of the large overhang is quite rough beyond 50 degrees, but the overall shape is right.
